Acc New York’s Murder rate is comparably much higher than London’s 👀 I think London is the 8th most violent city in the UK and there are no British cities in the top most violent cities in the world. Just OrDiNaRy Leah the Uks sentences are hella short for somereason. 3 white teenagers just killed a police officer who got married only 4 weeks before and they got 2 “13 year sentences and 1 “16 year sentence”. For murdering a police officer by dragging him from a car for a mile. Then they go and arrest someone for posting something on Facebook. Makes no sense

You're right the sentencing in US is a lot worse. I know you even got 3 strike rule for stuff like possession so could end up in prison for life for that. And can get 200 or excessive sentences for particularly bad crimes. Here, the maximum sentence for murder is 25 years for an adult but less if you're under 18. It tends to be somewhere between 16-20 years depending on the circumstances.
