The federal system includes a rotating monarchy, where the king is elected from among the rulers of the 9 monarchies every 5 years. England could be Federated into it's 9 regions and each region have a local parliament but still having the monarch as head of state.

Like from the round up jay was a kid who didn’t feel loved and was scared to answer his dad back, they just realised when they all got together how funny it was and that’s how many turn out imo. I think when writing it I don’t think when they did the characters they was specifically going for comedy.

That episode was filmed in "The Standard" music venue in walthamstow east london. It was so funny seeing some of the staff behind the bar and the owner at the end escorting will off the stage. That place was awesome!!

I think it makes sense that Will wouldn't know what 'federal' means. England is not a federation - it doesn't have states. I'm from Australia, which is a federation. We have federal police and state police. But that phrase probably makes no sense in lots of countries. I suspect that the joke there is that Jay watches way too much American TV and Will watches hardly any. As they say, the best jokes are the ones that require a lengthy explanation.
