Dancer Jungkook is such a treat to the eyes. His dance moves are so sharp yet so smooth. He is just so in detail, you got to watch him dance on repeat to catch everything. I love him. Jungkook never marks his movements, he always does them all out. He's pure physical force in beautiful motion. Also, according to the people who've worked with the boys, he's incredibly good at delivering the exact same performance (voice and dance) every single time.

Wes sort of perfectly described j-hope style in the first minute of the reaction. haha. Sharp, precise moves executed with a lot of fluidity. The man has full control over every single muscle in his body--even the tiny ones normal humans don't ever separate out--and no bones. There's a reason he was winning national championships and label competitions before joining BTS. A whole prodigy.

Contrary to popular belief, dancing barefoot is actually a lot easier than with shoes, cuz you get a good grip, and slightly more control (this is just what I believe at least. if you've been dancing with shoes all your life then maybe not) For a contemporary dancer like jimin, dancing barefoot is probably a lot easier too It's probably also why they're ALL barefeet for black swan, considering that choreo is their most contemporary inspired one

yesss bts dance practices are so perfect, i agree seeing how great it is just raw with no fancy camera movement, outfits, or stage visuals shows how talented and professional they are you guys should also do the older dance practices to see how how much they've changed from back then and how much they've all improved! songs like boy in luv, danger - which is a classic -, we are bulletproof pt2, no more dream, etc

I think recording yourself dancing is the best thing you can do to improve. It is literally recommended by every dance teacher I've ever had, so I'm sure it is 100x more important for professionals like bts. its the only way you can see what you look like when you dance and correct yourself. Sometimes only you can tell what needs to be different in what you do, and it can also help you create beautiful shapes that are hard to teach other people to do.

That dance move you really liked in Baepsae was made up by j-hope a couple years before the song dropped. In a Bangtan Bomb (behind the scenes clip) he teaches some of the other members the move and tells us he came up with it. Then it was later integrated into the Baepsae choreography. Very fun, very swaggy, very j-hope. I've always used the term "Sunshine Swag" to describe his brand of fun/cool.

The Baepsae dance practice have elements of both, lol! 9:22 JHope spinning his body while doing the same dance moves as the others 13:32 Jimin dropping into the splits 12:19 JHope sliding from one side of the room to the other 17:22 Jungkook/Jimin slow handstand down to the floor, JHope spin and twist down to the floor 18:30 Jungkook slow handstand down, V slow handstand and sideways down to the floor, JHope spin and twist down 19:40 Jimin navel 🤣 24:36 Suga said he only had 2 days to learn the sword dance🤯 29:46 Oh yes, that seems like that would be such a fun Run BTS challenge! 37:37 Two drumsticks drop, one dancer kicks a drumstick out of the way and another grabs the last real quick. They prevented a possible accident from happening.👏👏👏👏👏 39:20 I believe the guys talked about how in this dance practice they were starting to get really tired(BTS has said that ON is their hardest choreo thus far), but once the other dancers started hyping them up it gave them the energy to finish the practice!💜 42:41 since you both love the ponytails(P.s, same! 😍), I recommend watching BTS's Idol and Black Swan performances for Jimmy Fallon's "BTS Week"! 44:02 BTS went on James Corden's show to perform Black Swan for the first time ever, but the stage was smaller than they were used to so when they did this part V accidentally kicked JHope in the head. But Hobi being the incredible artist that he is, didn't show a hint of that. We only found out later that night when Hobi brought it up to tease Tae while on Vlive, lol! FYI, that was the first Vlive I watched live since becoming an ARMY(I found them in Sep. 2019).

During practice, runners wear ankle weights and Jungkook and RM wear boots for the same effect: When it's time to perform, they don't use those extra weights, making them feel lighter on their feet. BTS dances barefoot for Black Swan especially because the choreo is based on a genre called modern dance. I enjoy the clothes we see in dance practices. How cute RM looks for Baepsae, Jimin's shirt with the big stripe down each sleeve that emphasizes the 3:33 move in FIRE, Jin's slim-fitting tracksuit in FAKE LOVE, their long tunics in BS&T, JH's outfit (including visor!) for DNA, V's stylish outfit in DNA, V's big red sweatshirt, Suga's baseball get up, JH's basketball shirt, V's stylish overalls with jacket, V's oversized outfit in Black Swan, and on and on. I also love the visual effect when their hair bounces in synch. On stage it is usually gelled and sprayed into styles that look great, but in practices it just flies free!

42:25 Being barefoot is due to the dance style, modern dance. Usually dancers dance barefoot in modern and contemporary styles since they have a lot of movements that use the extension of feet and moves that showcase legs (especially in pure contemp. with aerials, flips, rolls, etc.) It's the same as ballet dancers wearing specific ballet shoes. In Asian traditional dances you can find a lot more props, outfits and mannerisms specific to the style. They didn't have to be barefoot in On, that was probably either because they were already barefoot from Black Swan or a preference.

All the music videos,lyrics are deeply connected to each other. Like in baepsae they were making funny faces Becz in the lyrics they are criticizing the older generation for getting opportunities easily i.e they were born with a silver spoon in their mouths while today's generation have to work way more harder than them to achieve these opportunities. I love their choreos so much and their dancing skills are getting just better and better 🔥🔥 We know Hoseok and Jimin were dancers years before debut and they were the best but seeing the rest of the members that trained so hard too and even some of them that began with no experience or didn't really want to dance.. wow I'm just so proud of all of them! 😭💜💜 My favorite choreo is Fire and ON too! but I have to say that this is probably my top (Not including Fire, ON and without a particular order): Fake love, Black Swan, Dope, Mic Drop, Idol, Danger, Best of Me, BS&T, DNA , Boy in luv and Anpanman!
