Steph is right. Their duality on stage and off stage (in bv and run bts) is what makes them so captivating. It is easy to forget that they are amazing performers and musicians because they are so down to earth and real off stage. Their stage presence is one of the best in the world.

They’re makeup does tend to look different because some songs are more dramatic & artistic so they sometimes need a more dramatic look. Meaning sometimes they used red or dark blue eyeshadow instead of brown for a neutral look.

The Dance Jimin did, is usually done by Woman, he was the first Male to do it in such public space, BTS are always bold when it comes to breaking Gender Stereotypes, and always have to deal with backlash from People in Power since South Korea is still pretty patriarchal. Especially Jimin and J-Hope, wear outside BTS in their Private Time Skirts, Nail Art/Paint and designer clothes that are female coded and made for woman. Most idols wear skirts, nail art even the gen public does so no they don't receive backlash for that in sk but internationally they do. Pretty sure GD popularised genderless fashion around like 2014 and ever since even khiphop/street dancers began embracing them.

That performance was leJINdary😂 but just for you know guys, the fake love performance was LIVE but the airplane pt2 (the next one) was RECORDED (like 2 days prior) because they have to change and put everything in place to the final and big performance of Idol that was ALSO LIVE. BTS do this because they need time to change scenarios and everything and their performance usually last 30 min or more because they are really popular☺️.

There was so many thing happen back in 2018. People keep saying BTS were straying from their origin after won at billboard along side with overwhelming attention. Also bunch of tour dates focusing overseas. Then the cultural merit award and so on. So, during mma 2018 they are using their culture concept to say, “we are not forgetting our origin and this is what we proud also will carry our country image as much as we can on behalf.” Usually during end year stage performance BTS will bring 2 must color, red and blue which represents their country flag 🇰🇷. BTS usually don’t speak much but answer through their action. As Suga said, “we stick/do at what we best at.”😉

Yes … they almost always perform Idol in “hankbok” - traditional Korean wear … It was because around this time they blew up in the west, so jobless haters started accusing them of being too “westernised” … hence they shut them up by performing Idol in Hanboks … Idol has a lot of references and clapback at haters …

This doesn't stop me from loving myself for being an artist, an idol, Korean and a breakthru act in the whole world!" they also changed the backtrack for this Idol performance adding traditional Korean instruments in the mix, which I think, make the song sound even better than the studio version.

Those actually weren’t dragon costumes (your thinking of the Chinese dragons you see during their new year’s celebrations) those were traditional Korean lions costumes for something called the Lion Dance. It is derivative of Chinese culture so I can see why you thought they were dragons.

I feel like you should react to Taylor's Introduction to BTS video though you've seen intros before. Even for army who have been in the fandom for years, that video can reveal new snippets about the boys and their music. And it'll be fun to watch too, since now, as Army, you'll be able to judge if the picture shown of the boys is accurate and what information you would add or remove if you were making an intro to bts yourself

They are basically behind the scenes videos from their KZbin channel from different important events they have done. For example, they have them for all their Grammy, Billboard, and AMA experiences (so it includes them leaving Korea, rehearsing, getting ready, and so on), as well as their Korean performances, and events like them going to the White house to speak on asian hate, or their speeches at the UN. It's best to have already watched the actual event or performance, and then these episodes afterwards so it isn't confusing. oooh I love this perfromance. camera work of these award shows often sucks tho, cuts out the best parts with their constant zooms so BTS label always make their own recordings and upload them to their own channel BANGTANTV as ''stage cam'' or ''bts focus'' highly recommend going for those. as good as every perfromance has one. certain award shows in the past actually tried to sabotage bts and make them looks bad by messing the camera work up, for a dance battle against another group from a big 3 company for example. so bighit as a response made sure to always record BTS perfromances themselevs. one of the best moves they ever did.

Hey, could you guys think about reacting to the bts festas starting from the first one? I just think it's really cool to see how they all changed and matured over the years through the festas. In the beginning it was more just roasting each other and messing around but over time you see them become the people they are today little by little. And each year you notice how everything they went through a particular year affected them. The 2018 and 2019 are my favorite ones. The Award shows are when all artist performing go big..it's the end of the year performance...technology and creativity once again to condense the actual performance..it's amazing they really want to give the fans a well thought out show..there shows are not like the U.S so it's not crazy or overwhelming just geniuses on everyone involved from the dancers, artist, assistant and directors.
