I like that you are trying to ship your friend into liking the boys 🤣 Update: the 6 boys are slowly getting confident with their eng / other language skills. Though not as near RM's yet, but compared to their eng interviews from 2017, they have vastly improved. Some of them, aside from the rappers' mixtapes, have produced solo material like Jimin ("Promise") and V ("Scenery") on soundcloud. V adds the titles of producer and composer under his name. Jin, doesnt have a background in music and dancing but has seriously improved on both and had contributed in som of the melodies of BTS. He is also said to be working on his mixtape. They really started from the bottom, and theirs is the classic underdog story. Some of their lyrics reference those times when they had to cramp themselves in one bedroom bec the company didnt have a huge budget, when their debut was just a fill-in for a bigger star that backed out last min, performances and appearances were cut on tv shows (that's why they rarely appear on variety / tv shows) and how their dream first was to perform infront of 10,000 ppl.

Thank you for watching and reacting. Yeah most of the answers were in the details..... a couple of items you may be interested in to clarify since there were a few spots you either didn’t read or misread.... RM and Suga started in underground rap and caught a lot of hate for going in to an “idol” group.... they are serious rappers and producers and composers though.... J-Hope learned to rap after he got involved with the group but is an amazing rapper and dancer and has also produced.... the three primary rappers have their own mix tapes out. You can check those out for free on SoundCloud.... Suga was not pressured to BE a psychiatrist.... his parents took him to a psychiatrist because he started suffering from social anxiety and depression around age 18. His song on his mix tape talks about it specifically .... that was the song playing with the lyric translation when you were talking about pressure parents put on kids.... “The Last” is the song. It is pretty deep. A lot of fans have found hope from his lyrics (well from the whole band really - but a lot of people identify with Suga because of his feelings with this and working through it). I am so happy and proud of him when I see him rapping or performing in general in front of thousands of people and looking so happy.... They have all worked so hard and received (and still do) a lot of hate and negativity- in part because of people’s ignorance and in part because of jealousy.... they have always stayed true to themselves and are not like any other group out there. They are amazing. Thank you again for watching. Sorry for the length of this comment. I would encourage if you have not to react to their MAMA2018 Hong Kong performance (multiple songs) or MMA2018.... two different award shows from Korea at the end of 2018.... reactions to the performances almost broke the internet. Peace.

1)When BTS fans speak of 'THE STORYLINE' or the BTS/Bangtan universe', they refer to an underlying narrative that has been going since 2015/2014. That storyline isn't tht straightforward. It's not like a series with the different episodes. There music videos that very obviously belong to the storyline. Others just includes hints or references. There are even different hints in the Japanese versions of some of their videos than in the original Korean version. (BTS have Japanese versions of many of their songs) the narratives & hints to it are also included in the short flims, trailers for concepts intros, performances, booklets in their physical albums and now weekly webtoon. The stroyline is very complex and confusing with alternative timelines. Army's have been discussing theories since 2014/2015. Alot of theories have been confirmed through the webtoon now (which is being published four years after they started the storyline!). The storyline is about a group of friends (who have the same names as the BTS members, but the storyline is fictional) who have fallen apart and the demons they have been struggling with individually. I don't want to go give away too much, but the webtoon confirms the theory that one of the friends somehow is able to time through time and tries to save his friends from their terrible fates. At the moment we don't know if he succeeds. 2)BTS are storytellers in general. So 'the storyline' is only one of their stories/narratives. Most of their albums belong to 'trilogies' which explore certain themes. Their first three ablums to the *School trilogy* (2013-2014). Three of the members Were still at school (High schooland middle school) when BTS debuted in 2013. One member was university. The idea behind BTS was to create a group of spokespeople for their generation who would dare to talk about young people their age really felt. So the first ablum are mainly concerned with the rigid Korean education system and the pressure of conformity with sociality expectations. The next three albums belong the the *Youth Trilogy* and their next album, *Wings* is also thematically linked to that trilogy (2015-2016-2017). Those albums explore struggles of growing yo and being conformity with the adult world and the (moral) choices that come with it. Their current *Love yourself* trilogy (2017-2018) explore different forms of love, from idealized, romantic love, tho dark sides of love to the 'Epiphany' (song title) that you can only truly have meaningful relationship with somebody else of you first love and accept yourself. However, the love yourself theme isn't just an artistic concept. It's actually also a way of life they are trying to live themselves and speard and also a campaign they are doing as good-will ambassadors for UNICEF, with the Love yourself era coming to an end, it has started an new era for their recent album and thematic concepts. 3)BTS songs and vidoes can work on different levels and most likely have different layers to them. The 'I need u' for example is very obvious part of the storyline, the song itself/the lyrics, however ks/are about a romantic relationship with a girl. Alot of fans day the lyrics don't go with the video. I don't totally agree. I think you can look at the song in a broader sense as being in a relationship (you could replace 'girl' with 'friends'). Obviously, the video isn't a literal interpretation of then song lyrics though (so here the lyrics blog probably won't help with understanding 'the storyline'. Their amazing 'Blood Sweat and Tears' video is based on the novel Demain by classic German author Herman Hesse. It's about discovering the temptations of the adult world. You can only understand the video of you know the novel (which, apparently man Army's have read). So that song/video belongs to their 'Youth trilogy' theme. However, the video is also apart of 'the storyline' as their are alot of references to it (symnlos that the characters are associated with). My point is: things Arani obvious with BTS. If you want to discover all the layers, you need to dig deep
@cristinacriss44005 жыл бұрын
If you liked how that song sounded, listen to the whole thing it's a masterpiece. It's called "Singularity" It's sung by V (Taehyung) and the lyrics were wrote by RM (Namjoon) the leader. And another solo song that you would love is "Serendipity" sung by Jimin and lyrics again by RM. Really beautiful songs, if you listen to them please don't forget to turn on the captions ,they put a lot of thought and effort into the lyrics

BTS didn't have much when they debuted their company was poor so they got lot of backlash and they had to build their way on to the top on Thier own. They went from all 7 of them sleeping in one room to living in the most expensive apartment in Korea they went from not having money to fly aboard to having private jets, they went from having 2k retweets to most tweeted about artist in the world in both 2017 and 2018, they went from promoting their own concert to 200 people to having the biggest world tour in the world in 2019, they went from not getting #1 in a music show to the best selling album in the world in 2019, they went from flops to the biggest band in the world and their company is the richest company in Korea right now. BTS don't just say to live your dream and work for it they them selves lives it that is why many people can relate to them and love them even though they are kings right now they never forget their roots they are really humble and appreciate every single thing and they love their fans so much.💜

They are living together for almost 10yrs now since their trainee days, until now.. And they actually slept in 1 room with bunk beds for 3-4yrs (including trainee days) but now they have their own rooms.. And in korea, you have to audition if you want to became an idol (boy group) except to those scouted.. And they will be trained for years with monthly evaluation and the company will choose the members to debut as a group.. So they were all strangers combined as a group

i always love seeing you boys react. its a lot of fun and i hope you continue to do so. also, we don't mind if you guys take the time to look at the captions. its what usually allows people to understand the boys better. hopefully you guys can react to bts from nobodies to legends 1 &2. it will also have captions but they are shorter videos.

yes they’re living together since trainee days, so maybe around 7-8 years or more. idk the exact time they started living together. so they treat each others like a family and actually they’re bonding like a family. even they claimed that more than their family , the members actually the one who know them better

The 'FAKE LOVE' mv is part of the BTS universe/Bangtan Universe(BU). It is a connect story that goes thought majorityof their mvs. It also explains into shortflims,short stories and now even webtoon (plus blog, photos etc etc.) Everything connects with the builds upon each other with sometimes layers on layers of symbolism (the whole Wings era < that was their album at the time- wants to make you run face first into a concrete wall since they still continue the story, but intertwined it also with the content of the 1919 novel "Demain" by Herman Hesse,which itself build upon Jungian psychology. Plus symbolism taken from mythology and art)

The boys do share a dorm and have for over 7 years now. They used to have a 1 bedroom apartment but now their dorm is absolutely huge. Back when they debuted the company wasnt popular and they didnt have a lot of money so they basically came from nothing. Also i dunno if you know, but the first part of their name is actually the surname, so Jin's name isnt kim but Seokjin and Jimin's isnt Park but Jimin. Also that video of Jungkook was his first day of High school back in 2014 (he entered a year late). He graduated in 2016. When BTS first debuted he was only 15.

please read the subtitles... that's the whole point of the video idk why everyone in the comments has to answer questions that you would already have answered if you just read the subtitles. How do you react to a video when you're missing the biggest part of it???

18:52 Yes, they lived together and this is RM studio...Suga and JHope also have their own studio...where they create and writes their songs, compose music, etc...
@bauistik39825 жыл бұрын
yes, BTS still lives together since training days (2010). RM, Suga and JHope write, compose and produce their music but the other members also write, compose and produce some of their music as well. BTS music heals, support, makes you feel love and makes you happy. ARMYs could relate to the lyrics of the songs since BTS talks about daily struggles, happenings, social awareness, dreams and love for oneself. BTS despite being the world's top boyband still remained humble, respectful and thankful. watch V's Singularity MV since your friend likes it so much. you should watch BTS from Nobodies to Legends part 1 and 2.

I love watching people react to this video because it’s how most of is really learned the back story of each member. Kind of hard to learn it if you don’t read the captions though. 😕 I love that you both appreciate their music but if you want to learn about them, please take the time to read captions. Pausing is absolutely ok. I definitely don’t mind. Thanks for reacting!

Reading word by word no matter what in these types of documentaries are very important, especially if don't know who or what it is talking about beforehand. Also, even if you have to pause it, go ahead. Some viewers get annoyed, like me, but don't mind it. We understand. The audio was also kind of off on some parts, and towards about maybe 26:36 or 26:37, the audio went WAY off. Just a pointer, no matter how slow of a reader you are, just pause to read everything at your own pace. Don't feel pressured to go faster just because others get annoyed.

Yup they live together, they have been living together for the past 7 years and have moved many times . They started from a one bedroom apartment where they all had bunk beds and now live in a mansion , but still live together. They have a very close brotherly bond.

It’s a pity you didn’t read the captions properly. Suga did not want to become a psychiatrist, he suffered and still suffers from social anxiety and depression. You would have understood them a lot more if you had taken the time to read the captions. The maker did not put them there for no reason.

This video explains a little about them. For more info about their success and how they lived I'd would recommend the video BTS from nobodies to legends. They lived together for years In a small cramp room with bunk beds, barely any funds and no space to record . They really started from scratch

In Korea they put the surname first. for example: Park Jimin.. park isn't his name, it's his surname. His name is Jimin.

Thank you for your genuine reactions, I want to add some more things which the video may have missed Taehyung aka V: He is a genius like RM, he has the widest vocal range in the group, he has co produced, composed and written melodies for many bts songs too. This bit of information wasn't included in the video, again thank you for your reaction 😊

KEEP IN MIND THEY PUT THEIR FAMILY NAME FIRST AND FIRST NAME, for example Kim Namjoon = Nam-Joon Kim......The three “Kims” in the group aren’t related at all but they all considered themselves family of brothers (hyungs / dongsaengs) *My biases are Suga, V and JungKook* but i love and support all the members because they’re my babies! RM and Suga were legit underground rappers before becoming famous, they were DISSed and criticized for making the best decision they could make to become better rappers/artists, the opportunity fell into their laps and they took it! When they formed between 2009-2012 they started out as a hip hop group but they later on it was decided that they would debut as a kpop group which means that they have the freedom to do any genre, concept, or theme. They won’t be just doing hip hop & rap!

I really appreciate that you took the time to get to know BTS better but honestly all the questions you've asked were answered in this video. You misunderstood quiet a lot because you tried to explain everything to your friend while reading at the same time... as long as the guys talk in korean your friend should maybe consider to like reading subtitles haha. There're so many hilarious videos and compilations about them, I'd love to recommend them to you but your friend really need to read the subs to get it.
