This ad touches my heart so much. My parents are in their 70s now, I can no longer do adventurous things with them as compared to their younger days. They have aged so much, always tired and can't walk long anymore. Now I try to spend as much time with them as possible, even though it's just visiting them and chatting for hours 😭😭😭

I really enjoyed this. Setia means Loyal. So i guess they were trying to emphasize that they are being loyal to tradition. Setia is a construction company that builds homes.

do you remember when you're young.. your dad's sometime has not time to go like summer camp or go fishing, hunting, trackin( especially in texas).. and all!?? every boys wanted to have fun with their dad.. and as a father he will do all the best for his son/daughter spend time together.. but what after you grow up and had your own family and your dad has passed away.. what bring your memories with your dad when your kid asked you to have some fun time together!?? to me my dad is"superman".. he's my good teacher , idol , hero, (my dad passed away when i was 14 yr old).. i learn many thing from him... and now im good in fishing, hunting, tracking,.. 30 yrs dad passed away.. but all good time we spend together and his love forever stay in my heart and memories till i died

I'm sorry you lost your dad at such a young age, but you have sich lovely memories of him. It would be nice if every child remembers his/her dad with love and fond memories. I lost my husband 2 and half years ago when my kids were already in their 30s amd early 20s. I'm sure they have loads to remember.

In general perspective, this ad teaches us in the modern day things move so fast and young generation tend to ignore the tradition and being less appreciative about it. It also shows us that time flies so fast and spending quality time with family is everything because we gonna miss our time with them when they are gone for good soon.. When that happens, how we wish we could turn back time to be with them and do things together. That's my perspective with this ad and it hit me hard plus my mom passed away almost 20years now. How i missed spend time with her again and how i missed my 80's-90's era where kids those days were so carefree.

this is one of my favourite advert, it brings back memories. my dad died of leukemia over 15 years ago so this really relates in many ways. I'm 39 now, I miss my dad all the time. I hope to have good memories with kids of my own someday.

When I was little...I felt so lazy to help my parents doing preparation for hari raya but still helping..when the time pass by..i realized our parents taught about living skills, the moments that we should cherish, the morality values such as work in team is better than alone dan many more..indeed...most of us couldnt celebrate with our parents because of movement control order

I always make rendang with my grandma . This year I can't go back to hometown to do so. The time that I make rendang with my grandma is precious. But my twin is there to help her , so I didn't feel sad 😭

This kinda of traditions apply to all mala ppl not only in Malaysia but in Brunei , Singapore, n some Muslims county who celebrate Eid Mubarak/ Hari raya..we still doing it till now..every families will gather around came over to their parents or inlaw house on the last nite of Ramadan to help preparing ingredients , cleaning up the wholes house..fixing lights etc..it bounding time with families..to show our children these is not only tradition but making family close together hangouts time with cousins, uncle's aunty ...that what the meaning of it...turn to be treasures memories for all when these ppl gone

You can Google about Saji, a company focus on palm oil and oil palm products and export to many countries across the globe especially Middle East I first discovered about saji's product when I was attached to the university of Hong Kong, Hong Kong in 2014. Actually, cooking the rendang nowadays doesnt take that much time. Meat is ready bought from the market, so is coconut milk, can buy ready from the market. Only prepare the rest of the ingredients. Than its time to cook, taking the most is 3 to 4 hrs only.

Ramadhan (the fasting month) and the celebration after (eid) are strongly associated with religion, tradition, food and i think mostly family :p imagine christmas or thanksgiving. Hence why these corporations make these special and emotional tv commercials during this time. This year is especially emotional for malaysians being the 2nd year of celebrating ramadhan and eid far from families - for months ppl have not been allowed to travel inter-states to meet parents and families and to add to that, they were then not even allowed to literally visit anyone (even family that lives nearby) during the eid celebration.
