Tracksuits come from an era where we use to have to walk everywhere. It was comfortable to walk long distances, run and jump fences when evading police. It was known as more of a criminal dress code. A lot of us grew up in the streets drinking etc so trackys were just convenient for all situations. No one wants to drink all night then have to walk a couple kilometres in tight jeans 😂

On this side of the globe (well Australia & NZ atleast), I feel people dress more for comfort, rather than for aesthetics. Also, the laws in New Zealand and Australia are different compared to the United States, which is why weapons are never seen in music videos cause it could be used against you in court, if you have a pending court case etc. I just feel that artists who intentionally show weapons in their music videos, really be capping the most lol.
