Just in case someone gets scared: these long words are not used in practice. They are usually either compound words with really many words, or words with all possible conjugation endings concatenated together. So they are mostly just an exercise of crafting the most complicated words that the Finnish language allows. Something to have fun with over Friday beers, but that's all.
@LordBhorak6 жыл бұрын
Actually that Lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas is a real title in the Finnish Air Force. And for the ones wondering what it means: It's an assistant mechanic of airplane jet propulsion turbines , who is in a non-commissioned officer training.

Just for the record: "lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas" and "epäjärjestelmällisyydellistyttämättömyydelläkäänköhän" are specifically picked long and obscure words (the first one being the longest noun in Finnish, if I remember correctly). Never in my life have I been in a situation where I have needed to use them or been in the presence of anyone who has had to. Whenever I've seen them, it's been in the context of listing words that are long. I'm not sure I can even translate that latter one. "With his/her disorganizingness" as a query? I'm a native speaker.

Sorry, my English. I hope you understand Cat and Dave asked for history in Finland. Here's a bit of information, music and more. Great! Finland should be proud of this artist, Isac Elliot. It's just global music. Not just in Finland, only an idiot does not understand this skill. Why is Finland artist so little in the world featured, only Saara Aalto, Darude (sandstorm) Nightwis, Children of boodom, The Rasmus, Lordi, Sona Artica, H.I.M, Apocalyptica, Sibelius, many many more etc., etc. Hollywood Actors with Finnish Father or Mother or grandfhater or grandmother; eg. David Lynch. Matt Damon, Pamela Anderson, Tyra Banks, Jessica Lange Did You Know. They are not the only Finnish publics in the United States - there is also a TV star, a rock musician and a Hollywood producer. In addition to music,And many more yours countyru, Angry Bird, Max Payne, Nokia,All sports - Formula 1, rally, Icehockey., what more, you can do it. ??? little country. etc. etc, you will be proud of many things in Finland. Your:`s publics live in US about 3 million and Sweden 1 million. This Isac Elliot is do a great music, so young boy will know what to say or to sing. Do not it's stupid! Why dislike your country singer`s, I do not understand ?? And, Pisa's result is always at the forefront of the world. Total Finns live in the world 10 million and 5.5 million in Finland. Altogether about 16 million Finnish families or citizens.Do you understand Finns, you are impossible! You won the war against the Soviet Union and you are now 100 independent countries. What can I ask for? See the operaction of Alaska. The US and Finland had agreed that the whole of Finland was evacuated from the US. Unbelievable but true. If everything had gone as planned, then we would be a common people with the US. Finnish TV and internet, YLE Areena areena.yle.fi/1-4231762 What if the Finns were now Americans? The United States offered the war of war to Finland for refuge in Alaska in 1940. The imaginative document takes the forgotten plan to an end. yle.fi/operaatioalaska Lauri Markkanen on legenda !
