Yes, flying from LA to Manila is 15 hours, but it will in effect take you two days because you'll cross the international date line and skip one day. Interesting. Expect livelihood different from your country. You might think of it as poverty but that's a norm in PH. They are happier than most Americans I tell you. Dont forget to visit BGC if you are in Luzon, and go to one of the islands. Cebu for turtles, whalesharks and canyoneering. Siargao for island life. Or Bohol for tarsiers, beaches and chocolate hills to name a few. Have an open mind and you will surely enjoy it.
