The brands or the snacks themselves?

@@recoil53 I'm from Moscow as well. I have heard of a few brands (1 pack of chips and that chocopie) - those are pretty common, but the others don't look familiar as a snack nor brand.

The chips are American-esque. I don’t remember those when we lived there, but that was a long time ago. Like Max said, Lay’s and Cheetos would probably be more popular. I’m not sure how many people would eat them on a regular basis though. My family would not have been able to afford them.

Actually, the factory that make Ozera flavored chocolate line has really great traditional chocolate line, that is ranged by percentage of pure real cacao beans from all over the world. My personal favorites are 97,7% Careno Superior and 75% Equador. For it's price something less than a 1$ this is the best quality/price gourmet chocolate I know. kdvonline.ru/catalog/shokolad-5

Russian snacks include a piece of bread with butter (and often kalbasa on top), porridge, an apple, pickles, tea, hard boiled eggs, piroshki if you have them maybe... mostly just normal food. Селедка. Maybe pryaniki but my mom didn’t like them so we never had them. My mom used to get ice cream for free or it would cost 17 cents I think. Something cheap like that. I don’t think we eat many chips traditionally. There are also other types of candies that I did not see.

I have seen this in a lot of American taste test videos.. I have noticed That A LOT of Americans assume things are artificially flavoured from other countries.. Whereas in most countries, artificial flavours are actually banned. Here the guy sniffs the bag and says.. Mmmmm. Artificial cheese. When there most likely is nothing artificial about it.
