Its expensive and tied to our employment (and many jobs do their best not to have to offer it), so the 40 million people who just lost theirs due to the pandemic, also lost their healthcare. Then you have our normal 44 million who don't have it before the crisis and the 38 million who are underinsured. We are only had healthy as a nation as our poor population, and our leaders are more concerned about regime change wars. I would reccomend NOT coming here if you were thinking about it.

You guys should try some goats cheese stuffed in the dates and drizzle some honey on top and put it in the oven for about 5 min. For 180C or 350F. It's really good. It gives it more flavour to the dates.

I love figs and dates with goat cheese! Raised in the south and worked at a restaurant where that was an app all of the servers could have as a free snack. Tasted great, filling, and without sitting heavy in the stomach.

I think we expect candy, fruit, and desserts to taste so sweet, anything without the sugary creaminess is too bland. I've been eating dates lately and they are very sweet and nicely chewy. Depends on the variety and where grown.

Pregnant me can’t say anything, but when I used to be able to survive without cereal, I could sweeten things with any fruit ever, but the smoothies sweetened with dates 🤮🤮 I couldn’t do it hahaha I feel like it’s like cilantro, you either love them or hate them.

I love dates ... in fact we just finished off some homemade banana date muffins ... they were yummy. Much like how great it is to go away, it's always great to come home ... trying new foods from other countries is fun, but it's best to eat the stuff we're used to. Thanks for sharing, that was fun.

Dates are delicious! I don't eat anything with sugar or honey or sweetener of any kind so maybe that's why I actually enjoy them. It's probably because you eat so much sugary stuff already that the flavors not there for you, like your taste buds are kind of dulled... In India they have sweets shops like The Almond House, I'm sure Dubai does too, the fresher the items the better they are.

I'm glad to see that they haven't really mentioned the whole Covid-19 thing on their channel. I looooooove dates but I haven't had any since I was a teenager. I love the texture and I think they have a lot of flavor but if I remember right you have to eat a couple before you taste it. Dried dates are the best!!!

Watching from Dubai’s neighbor, Saudi Arabia. A lot of desserts have subtle flavors to go with Arabic coffee, which is full of flavors like cardamom & saffron. There are many different kinds of dates too, some sweeter than others. I do believe that Saudi dates are the best though! Try dipping those dates in cream or tahini!

I was in Dubai a couple years ago and found myself laughing at the number of milk trucks on the road. They were camel milk trucks. I took pictures and I still giggle when I see them. The huge camel logo on the side of the truck was surprising consideringI’ve only seen a camel in books or a zoo. Dubai is an interesting place. Very diverse and friendly towards tourists. The city offers amazing restaurants, hotels, shopping and beaches. Lots of sights to see and experience, Ski Dubai in the mall, the old gold market & stores, and camel races. Oh, and Emirates Air is jaw dropping incredible. My son in law, my daughter & granddaughter lived there for a couple years for his work. Lucky me, he gifted me his frequent flyer miles with a 1st class upgrade for a visit in Dubai.
