But “The United States of America” is the only country with “America” in the name. So what are we supposed to call it?

Call it the United States of America, not America. America isn’t even a place. There’s a North America and South America.

@@BamBam_TYM Ok but just so you know when you say “the United States of” followed by anything that’s what that place is called. The many states of North America have United so that makes them the United States of America.

Fun fact, another word for America is Columbia. That's why our capital is called Washington D.C. or District of Columbia. We're Columbians :D

A Colombian, a Brazilian an Ecuadorian they all call themselves by these names. We are simply called Americans because it is in the name. None of the individuals I listed above ever call themselves Americans when referring to themselves. Quite frankly they're all too proud to call themselves anything else. Shut this stupid noise down. I'm over this woke culture.
