I had some Liquid Death Mountain Water either last weekend or the weekend before, and it's amazing. I'd buy a 24 pack to bring to a D&D session so everyone's hydrated.

funny thing is the cans have plastic linings inside of hem. so plastic is still used lmao. but its super duper thin. "i hate cocaine but i love the way it smells." level joke haha. 9:39

aluminum cans are better for the environment than most plastic bottles for two reasons: firstly, they are actually profitable to recycle, and secondly, they have no limits on how many times you can do so, unlike plastic bottles which can only be recycled 7 times before becoming useless slag and can only be recycled at a significant financial loss due to how inefficient our current processes are to do so. now there are outliers to this like those vaguely "biodegradable" plastic bottles that you see every now and again, but they only cut a process that takes thousands of years down to a hundred or so, and they still leech a bunch of nasty chemicals into the ground and water as they do so. mind you they're a massive step in the right direction, but there's still a long way to go with that tech before its truly viable long term.

Of course the biggest irony is that cans that contain liquid for human consumption are lined with plastic

But one can assume that it's far less plastic than a bottle of the same size.

Aluminum cans are better because 1 you can actually recycle them 2 you can make money by taking them to a scrap yard and 3 if you litter it someone is bound right fund it and make a couple bucks encouraging people to clean up aluminum cans.

I thought this was acholic was probably me (if not yay I'm not the only one lol) and in my defense if it was I was laughing at myself so it being a metal song just is icing on a cake. In my defense we have a brand of local beer that is literally teamed after the day of the dead so it would not be abnormal for me under these conditions to see it as a new product and go it looks like a beer I got to try it some day.

An aluminum can takes about 100-200 years to decompose. Plastic takes about 500-1000(we think). Plastic was only invented 120 years ago, so we're guessing. So, yes, littering or throwing aluminum in the trash is _better_ than doing it with plastic. Also, it's just metal. The same, non-toxic metal that's already in the ground. Plastic is totally synthetic, toxic as it degrades, and not found in nature.
@InstrucTube8 ай бұрын
The cans are bad, just like the plastic, but the plastic is worse since it can break down into microplastics that get into everything. The can's don't really break down as far as I'm aware.

from what i can see though is that the cans are profitable according to what others are saying. Profitable in that if you bring them to a scrap yard you can make a couple bucks
