Dustin Kemmis a well set up nitrous system would be less stress on the engine than forced induction mostly because nitrous doesn’t create heat like forced induction does. @@abelcorrea8881 yes it does, but that doesn't matter, boost is boost, the only difference is a supercharger has a little bit of parasitic loss.
@codylapoint4 жыл бұрын
In low rpm towing situations the 6.2 would take that eco boost's lunch. And a 3.5 is always going to be a 3.5, at similar power levels the wear, tear, and overall force on components is greatly increased vs a larger engine. Which without using exstreamly expensive superior materials can effect durability over time. The eco boost engines are a fantastic achievement in design and efficiency, but I'd still take the larger tried and true platform for my money. You dont have to agree, there is no wrong answer.
@brettls24 жыл бұрын
@@codylapoint I'm a GM guy through and through, but you do realize the EcoBoost has tons of low RPM power right, like that is one of the main things ford boast about. The EcoBoost is also built for boost and the 6.2 is not, so if I was a betting man I would say the EcoBoost is going to be more durable in the long run versus a boosted 6.2.
