But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.’ ― David Rockefeller ‘’Scientific societies are as yet in their infancy… It is to be expected that advances in physiology and psychology will give governments much more control over individual mentality than they now have even in totalitarian countries. Fitche laid it down that education should aim at destroying free will, so that, after pupils have left school, they shall be incapable, throughout the rest of their lives, of thinking or acting otherwise than as their schoolmasters would have wished. Diet, injections(vaccines) and injunctions will combine, from very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible...’’ - Bertrand Russell, 1953 Notice how they are always almost laughing when announcing these absurd, ridiculous, out of touch with reality, self contradictory, tyrannical, totalitarian, draconian, inhumane ‘’guidelines’’, ‘’rules’’, that destroy men, women, children from all points of views ? @@TIREPROD I think the North American auctioneer chant is unique, just like the pyramids in Paupa New Guinea. While auctions exist all over the world, they are purposely made clear and plain so everyone know exactly how much money is involved. The American auctioneer chant is the exact opposite of what the world does, so that is why it is an unique cultural practice.

Back in the 1960's in our town, there were two brothers who'd auction off the cattle. They'd each take turns, Ron for 45 minutes and then Ray for 45 minutes. Back and forth and so on and so forth until every cow was auctioned off. Over the radio you'd hear the radio guy talking about the auction and in the background, you'd hear one of the brothers auctioneering.

I stumbled on a weird part of youtube but I think it has something to do with pace. Since theres an awful lot of things being sold at auctions, it would make sense if you had to be fast. You don't want to spend too long selling something when you have about 100 more items to sell. That and I also think that speaking fast makes people react fast. Sometimes without thinking too. So better chance to sell something I suppose

They talk so fast because they have they have several hundred head of livestock to sell each sale day. The sale does stop and continue the next day, so they have to keep the pace up. Thanks for taking a lot of time and trouble to explain the auctioneers patter. I was watching cattle auctions and couldn't understand a word the auctioneer was saying. I still cant understand him....but at least I have an idea what he's saying! Thanks

Sign in Here it is definitely something you have to get used to. my dad is an auctioneer so I always know what they are saying but I could understand how if you didn’t grow up in an auction barn it could be confusing

I always looked forward to the Portland auctions, especially the horse auctions my Dad took us to. One thing I do *not* remember are the _dainty_ hand gestures from the auctioneer. That was enough to make me barf !!!!

To those talking shit on these Men and women.. I don't care if you are vegan. These are the type of folks who put food on your table. These people are literally the heart of this country. Without farmers and ranchers, we die. I'm thankful for them, I sure as hell don't want to pull a calf at 3am in a blizzard.

I spent my childhood round auction markets here in the UK and sometimes in the Yorkshire Dales markets where the language isnt even English half the time when they are selling thousands of sheep coming down from the hills. That said these guys were all extremely impressive and Blaine is a true champion. Sadly, its a dying art is open outcry auctioneering though. Now its mainly done online at least here in the UK.
