More have been named as suspects by family members or other persons. The cases against a number of named suspects seem credible in isolation, but you have to realize, at the most only one of these people can be Cooper, which means that all other suspects have to be not Cooper. Just as easily, none of them could be Cooper. Seriously, you should name the suspect and the person who claims that the suspect is Cooper.

First time coming across this channel for some reason. Half way in I figured out this is my go to favorite from now on. I read a few books about the Kennedys through my 58 years and I was surprised to learn about that female reporter that said she was going to tell what really happened and died shortly after saying that. Can't remember her name but I'm sure everyone knows about her. I also read one about the spy world including mossad. It seems to be common among agents to have multiple aliased. And to have those names switched around. Like Oswald Lee or Oswald Harvey. And they often have lookalikes for alibi purposes. It's also been reported that Oswald was seen in different location at the same time. Anyway new sub here and apparently I'm going to have to go back and watch more of your videos. Y'all are saying things that are new to me.

I’d like to see Mark discuss the extreme pit of cognitive dissonance that the book depository museum exists in. They maintain the child’s view that Oswald operated alone. They have people there that believe in the same cartoonish view of events. Have you ever tried to get on there as a speaker? I can’t imagine that they would ever allow that kind of thing to happen. I don’t know how they can ignore all the things that Jim Garrison proved.

1. If Jim Braden was, as Mark theorizes, not only the mob courier giving Jack Ruby $50,000 the night before, but also the spotter and possibly the hit-team radio coordinator in the Dal-Tex Building (since that was the first plaza building the motorcade passed), that would explain the subsequent mob largesse gratefully bestowing upon him a charter membership in their La Costa Country Club near San Diego the following year, the reward for a job well done in the service of organized crime. 2. Braden appears to have been an independent operator during his vast criminal life before incarceration. I am guessing he was recruited by the mob for the JFK hit while he was still in prison because he had no previous mob ties and therefore would not be suspect. Since he was toast regarding the pursuit of previous criminal pursuits due to public knowledge of his schtick involving marriage to rich oil widows, the middle-aged Braden probably figured he had nothing left to lose except giving up his freedom for a life of bondage to the mob. 3. Whereas the dutiful Jack Ruby got the shaft for his mob bondage by most likely being pressured under the threat of death to kill Oswald with only the consolation of a monetary reward, Jim Braden became, in effect, the equivalent of a made man who was untouchable in mob ranks. Most likely, he knew early on at La Costa that after his success in Dallas, his new criminal family would lean on him once again if and when RFK would run for president and threaten their enterprise, as he previously had done when his brother JFK was president. By that time in 1968, the mob waited until RFK came to California where their veteran ace Braden had home field advantage.

It's a good video. I researched the case off & on for over 30 years, read about 50 books on it, & actually went to Dealey Plaza in 1993. Keep in mind that the average crazy person is not going to get involved in something like this. The plotters literally had to go into the "sewers of society" to find ppl. like Braden that were willing to get involved in this thing & from my research they were very well-paid. Also, from my research there were more ppl. than just Braden that were involved in both brothers' assassinations.

Some more background and comments on Moe Dalitz for Mark. His last name is actually pronounced "day-litz", just so you know. The character of Moe Greene in The Godfather wasn't based on Dalitz, but on Ben Siegel. Both Jewish mobsters, both had their eye blown out during their murder. Siegel was a lifelong friend of Meyer Lansky, even from childhood. Godfather II has Hyman Roth as a Lansky type character. Dalitz started out bootlegging during Prohibition as part of the notorious Purple Gang in Detroit (in spite of his denials). When Prohibition ended, he moved to Cleveland and formed the Cleveland Syndicate, that controlled illegal gambling clubs all over Ohio and Northern Kentucky. The Cleveland Mafia (a.k.a. The Mayfield Road Gang) had what amounts to a partnership with the Cleveland Syndicate, where he shared some profits and they provided muscle when needed. Dalitz was very highly respected in New York, where he was reportedly held in very high esteem by Meyer Lansky. With his ties in The Commission, he and the Syndicate he headed were not subject to issues from other organized crime groups. He seemed to hold a place of almost universal 'trust' among the various factions. This also meant that he had little to do with violence, especially as time went by, and he was never convicted of a crime. The only crime he was ever charged with was bootlegging, and he never stood trial for it. He claims he didn't even know he had been indicted for many years, and it may be true. Moe built or acquired a number of legitimate business over time. This helped him launder his other money over time, no doubt. But he also made a great deal of legit money off these business for himself and his three Syndicate partners. He obtained a significant share of at least one hotel casino in Havana, but apparently didn't like the atmosphere there because he sold his share to a Mafia guy (Giancanna or Marcello I think), well before the Castro thing began being a problem. He instead took the money and invested it in Las Vegas, buying the Desert Inn, as well as the Stardust for a while, and at least one Downtown property. He was the perfect guy to head up the "neutral" city of Las Vegas for the various factions of the Mafia, backed by the Commission. He was the force behind the building of a major hospital in LV which was needed, and had lots of other legitimate business he was making money on. The resort (La Costa) was his biggest venture, and he was infuriated with Penthouse (and sued them for libel) over an article on the Mob ties to the place. Apparently Moe and JFK had a common girlfriend at some point (Judith Exner?) and Moe wasn't a big fan of JFK. The story goes that they ran into each other at a holiday party in late 1963, Not long after the assassination, and she was upset about JFKs death. Moe was overheard by several people telling her something to the effect of "I told you we would get that SOB", implying a foreknowledge of plans to kill JFK, even if it doesn't speak to his direct involvement. Dalitz eventually transformed into a legit businessman and philanthropist, dying at nearly 90 years old and worth a huge fortune, and considered a pillar of Las Vegas. He might have been the most successful mobster of all time.

How come the cops ONLY CHECKED the TSBD building & no OTHERS? We can only wonder WHO & WHAT would have been discovered had they checked out the Dal-Tex building!

because they used a silencer and the shot only went in about an inch into the president’s back in lower scapula to right of spine. Probably didn’t think a shot actually came from there because of that. Or the set up was on and knew it was to happen on six floor. If you listen to police transcripts its really odd, says 4th or 5th of TSBD floor second window from the right, say some one say a rifle poke out and couldn’t ID the person then immediately gives out the APB for the description of Oswald. Looks like that far window is closed and the window second from right is slightly open with the window where Bonnie Ray Williams was watching with his coworkers, he was eating his lunch on 6th floor minutes before and his buddy called him down minutes before to watch the motorcade. Said some shots came from above their heads. Believe they moved those open windows and constructed a sniper’s nest. Just a really bad awkward angle to shoot from. Notice every picture, video shown is cropped below that area. Saw an old video that shows that window closed and window second from right open, There are pictures taken of different configurations of the boxes they were up there for hours doing who knows what. Just saying some possibilities based on the evidence available

Wow! You must have spent hours researching all this. Obviously Ruby knew before he killed Oswald, that he probably would never get out of prison.

He was told he would serve a few years before being released as a so called hero who killed the assassin, that's how they sold it to him.

You mention the Cabana Hotel/Dallas and Sheriff Decker... just a bit of trivia... The Cabana Hotel was purchased by Dallas County in 1984 and turned into a jail. Oh yeah, and the name? The Bill Decker Detention Center, a min. security jail in operation 1984-2013. The Cabana was built by Jay Sarno (also Caesar's Palace & Circus Circus) with Doris Day as one of the investors. Lastly, the Cabana was where the Beatles stayed in Dallas on their 1964 tour.

In Doris Day's autobiography, she tells of being taken to a Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto, Ca. because her husband & his shyster lawyer had invested Doris' money in it. She found the place so hideous & tacky that she burst into tears and demanded they leave at once. Connected to The Cabana in Dallas?

This info deserves a tv series similar to the jfk movie, but not forced into a 2hr time slot...guess it would have to be an extreme example of non-linear storytelling to fit in the rolls of all the conspirators. Appreciate all the research.

Another great tale. Thanks Mark and Eric. BTW, I listen to episodes more than once. I think many in the Rekieta Law audience would enjoy the content on your channel. Eric, perhaps you could ask Nick to have Mark on for a conversation. Would provide an entertaining show for the Rekieta Law audience and might boost the number of your subscribers.
