But this is really the R125. We don't have a R15 in Europe at all. I have contacted the importer and you can change this in the display from '155' to '125' as he will tell the mechanics to do so. This is the demo of the importer, not my own bike. Also this is a negative backlight LCD which the R15 V3 currently does not have. But you might expect it in the future as it already shows '155'.

125ccm is perfect today and not only for beginners or young people. I am nearly 30 and I don't need a big bike. A 125ccm is fast enough, has the same driving feelings and the top speed is more than enough. I live in germany and 130 km/h is the highest possible speed. Instead of the speed free zones. So the 125ccm is cheap and has a low fuel consumption. Perfect for me.
@MotoSnax2 жыл бұрын
Personally I would love to have more. Especially in Germany where speeds on the urban roads between villages are even 100 km/h where I would think 80 km/h is more than enough. 125cc is fast enough speed wise but you also want torque to pull out of situations you don't want to get in to. If you open the throttle at 100 km/h on a 125cc it does not do much. If you do the same on a 600cc bike it will speed up fast.

Astonishing... I do remember the times when I was 16 and just happy to have the A1 licence in my hands. The ensuing 2 years, I would have to ride a 125cc bike restricted to Vmax 80 kph. At the age of 18, A1 drivers in Germany were allowed to ride unrestricted 125 bikes. However, I can't remember any 125 motocycle in the late 1990s which would have made 130 or 140 kph. I envy you... Nevertheless, I like the A2 class better. Not that I cared about top speed - I don't either want or need to go 170 kph or even faster - but on a (what I consider) middle-size bike, riding 130 or 140 kph is more relaxing and maybe enjoyable as you don't need to squeeze and push the engine to its utter Limit - or even beyond.
@MotoSnax5 жыл бұрын
The full powered 2 stroke 125's could easily pass 140km/h, but those had 30 hp. A2 class is good But if a bike can go up to 170-180km/h, most of the times you know you can ride 120 km/h without any problems for a longer period of time. The bigger the engine the lower the revs and the better the engine can keep up. That is why I still ride my ER-6N instead of a Z400. My ER-6N does 120-130km/h with more ease than a Z400.

Well, if you have a European A1 license you are not allowed to ride a 2 stroke that has around 30 hp. You are stuck to 15 hp whether is is 2 stroke or 4 stroke.

How fuel efficient is it when pinned at motorway speeds like this? Thanks for uploading
@MotoSnax3 жыл бұрын
Not efficient of course. ;) I have no idea what it would be.. probably somewhere around 1 liter per 25-28km or so.
@jonathanjoestar__3 жыл бұрын
@@MotoSnax ok lets calculate from assumptions: so we'll do this in kilometres per imperial gallon (KMPG) which is 4.5 litres, then convert to miles per gallon 1 litre per 25-28km, so lets round that to 1 litre per 26 km 1litre x 4.5 = 1 gallon 4.5 x 26 = assumed distance on 1 gallon = 117 km so we are looking at a mileage of 117 kmpg mpg would be 117 divided by 1.6, which is 73 miles per gallon which, compared to cars motorway driving, is very efficient. now lets see how long you could go on 1 full tank the capacity of the tank is 11.5 litres, or 2.5 gallons. so in km you could go about 300km on 1 tank of fuel without switching to reserve. in miles you could go 182 miles on 1 tank without switching to reserve... ... theoretically in case you couldnt tell by me writing all this out, i was very bored and wanted to do something that requires me to think.

Hello, guys: 131 km/h is quite well for a 4 stroke 125 cc sports bike, but… have you ever tried an italian 2 stroke 125 cc of the earliest 90's? This could be the max speed in 5th gear, but you have another two (Cagiva Freccia C12 and Mito had seven speeds). It was another world...

Remove the mirrors and reg holder, either make sure you’re light in weight OR find someone else that can ride it that doesn’t weigh a lot and this will be so different. Would also help to be tucked.
@MotoSnax2 жыл бұрын
I did tuck in. Field of view of the camera does not show that as much. If I remove the mirrors and reg holder I am not allowed to ride on the streets. For a Euro4 engine you can't get that much faster than this.
@Mr_OoOsH2 жыл бұрын
@@MotoSnax you can remove them to do a run somewhere that wouldn’t be a problem, mirrors aren’t a requirement in the uk either. It didn’t look like your chin was on the tank tho which is why I said about tucking 👍🏼

the FOV makes it look different. But removing mirrors etc to be a bit faster; I want to know what it can do in traffic. 😁 Over here you need to have at least one mirror (the left one).

@@MotoSnax ahhh where are you? In the uk we don’t even legally have to have indicators, I run a 2005 ZX10R that I have turbod.
@MotoSnax2 жыл бұрын
In The Netherlands. I think indicators are mandatory as of 1996 or so. Bikes before that time don't need to have them (if they did come out of the factory without indicators) but you'd have to stick your arm out if you make a turn. If it came with indicators your are not allowed to remove them. Even if it was manufactured before 1996.
