I don't believe that Amethio is really bad because I think that he'll eventually realize that he is being used similar to what happened to Alain! I get a mixer vibe from Amethio like that his going to be a tough cookie like both Tobias and Alain are in the series! Amethio looks like is a Noble Teenager which reminds me of kind-hearted Noble Teenager N in the Series! Amethio looks like he is trouble but I wouldn't be surprised if he secretly has a Soft Side of him that we will see eventually!

Honestly, I don't want Ametho to have a noble backstory. I want him to be someone that we are supposed to hate bc we haven't had that since Paul in DP. I am so hungry for a rival/villain character that we are actually supposed to hate. And please writers do not ship him with Liko. That is too cliche.

Amethio is a great mixture of our favorite Rivals of Ash's Alain and Paul. Personality traits, drive to be the best and strongest in the world. Amethio will be a problem for either right or wrong reasons. Love all the theories and possiblities for his backstory.

I feal there are some connections between the explorers and Friede crew. They both know something about the necklace. Also I was thinking something hilarious like friede and the rest of the crew on the airship trying to flee from the explorers by the air only to get in the cross fire of ash battling someone and the explorers just got bombarded by max star fall and hail storm, stray thunder bolts, or a barrages of aura spheres.

What you said so far about Amethio being like Alain might be closer to being true. Today, a new Japanese trailer came out and confirmed that Amethio was friends first with Liko (evidence a photos of them conversing and smiling). Also, it was confimed that Liko is attending in the academy from the Kantonian Indigo league academy (the bus she enters has the number 22 which according to the games refers to the kanto region). I hope to hear your opinion and prediction about the new trailer.

I have high hopes for Amethio to eventually become a good guy. and I'd be super happy if he did. I also hope we get lots of long term character developement for the characters since thats something pokemon hasnt really done before (as in characters growing and aging with the audience and the like similar to Naruto) I just finished watching ep 6 and I love this more mature pokemon anime so far!

Giovanni is most likely not Amethio Boss they're a part of a different group that has nothing to do with Team Rocket! There's no proof that they're a part of Team Rocket sorry because they kinda remind me of Pokémon Hunters like Amethio doesn't know that Zef and Conia are secretly Pokémon Hunters!? Ash must build an army. And they must move quickly. The evil teams are relentless. If they are all not destroyed, it’ll be Pokémon world war. First, he will have to send a lot of armies to track all the hideouts. They will catch all the evil teams, and their bosses off-balance. And after they’re dead, go to Unova, Alola, and Kalos, and wipe out N, Alain, Cross, and Gladion for good. And of course, make sure no one ever opens any temple that causes chaos and destruction. Like Damon, Butler, band of thieves, Alba, and all the others. Hunt them down and destroy them. Once all the evil teams and their Gooney criminals are gone, then the Pokémon world shall have peace.

I'm guessing Amethio's age is around 17-19. His main flaw seems to be his stubbornness when it comes to the missions. He is mature for his age, but I can see some childish sides (esp when he battles Friede HAHAHAH). He's really set on going with what HE thinks is best rather than listening to his teammates. He has a set of morals and values he abides by (which does make his methods a bit roundabout and what people say he's stupid for). but it is respectable to me though. At least he has a fineline of 'overkill' and I appreciate his approach being "do what is necessary". He might gain some sort of truth revelation and be in constant doubt/denial. Anyways, I have the fattest crush on him in this series so I am forming so many theories lol
