This episode was so good, and I can't wait to see Amethio's character arc from here. He gives me such Zuko vibes, especially now with his banishing (he's definitely doubling down in pursuing Terapagos and the Black Rayquaza to get back in his grandfather's good graces, trying to reclaim that honor) and getting his humanizing moment in the cave with Liko.

Y'all know how Zuko got that big screw-up after that cave scene that lead to Aang almost dying? I'm expecting something akin to that for Amethio, like his big screw up being breaking that trust Liko had with him this episode, and stealing Terapagos, successfully bringing it back to his grandfather. (I feel like, after that tho, he'll wind up unsatisfied in being able to come back, and find out something awful about Gibeon, like why Terapagos HATES him so much, potentially with Terapagos showing him a vision of Gibeon's betrayal towards Lucius, a betrayal that potentially resulted in his death, and that's what motivates Amethio to change sides.)

This is was literally the best ever episode OMG it had everything i needed to see, hear and much more the whole Amethio and Liko talk writer's did everything i wanted to be talked about and i loved it and Amethio deep inside has really sincere and gentle side especially towards Liko and especially when they were escaping the cave and he offered her a hand🥰🥰🥰. Now the end listen i love and respect Spinel so much as a Villain but this end scene made me really wanna punch him in the face so much he literally traped Amethio in the cave to make him "dissappear" but also had a backup plan if that would not work he can show to everyone how Amethio is helping the enemy, because Spinel knew Amethio has that little sincerity and kindness towards Liko and he used that sincerity and kindness to his advantage what a SLIMY SCUMBAG uhh i gotta give it to Spinel he really is smart and always 2 steps ahead to make sure he get what he wants and the fact that Gibeon trusted his workers instead of his OWN GRANDSON and kicked him out that was just hard to watch i felt so bad for Amethio, plz Amethio get your revenge on Spinel, he needs punch in the face and JAIL right now you deserve so better 10/10 episode.

This episode was definitely good in both character and setup and that ending was surprising too. On that note, while I would certainly enjoy Amethio joining with the Rising Volt Tacklers right, I feel that won’t be happening anytime soon as I don’t see Amethio being willing to go against the Explorers fully or rather Gibeon. As was made clear fulfilling Gibeon’s goal has been what Amethio has strived for, likely since he was young if we factor the details on his father. So I don’t see him just turning on Gibeon by joining the other side even after this, he’ll still likely have loyalty to Gibeon for a while. Plus as far as Amethio knows only Spinel set him up. Chalce kept her involvement hidden from him and Coral, Sidian and Hamber were all willing to hearing him out clearly doubting he would betray them. So he’ll likely center any feelings of payback on Spinel. Amethio will no doubt act on his own from now, separate from both Explorers and Tacklers. I suspect he’ll at first want to try and redeem himself to Gibeon to get back in, but perhaps later when on his own he discovers something that might get him to reconsider his grandpa’s goals and then he may join Liko and the others.

Another amazing episode. Like some in comments are saying: there is a chance that Amethio may try to join the RVTs as obviously they have the same goal, he also realizes that while staying with them he can re-encounter Spinel and stopping him becomes his new goal.

A lot of people are making Zuko comparisons, and while I love the idea of Amethio taking a similar path, it does have me a bit worried. Zuko chased Aang to the point of obsession, cut off people who cared about him like Iroh in the process, and made even greater enemies with Team Avatar when he spat in the face of their attempts to befriend him Makes me wonder if Amethio will act similarly, trying so hard to win back the trust of his grandfather that he ends up hurting his Pokemon and/or Zirc and Conia in doing so, maybe going too far against the RVT that gets one of them hurt, and if he tries to be an ally to them later (potentially after learning the Explorers’ goals may not be as altruistic as he thinks) they may not believe him or trust him, even Liko. Whatever path Amethio walks now, I get the feeling it won’t be pretty for him

Anyway on the topic of Amethio, if he becomes something like Valhalla from Beyblade Burst Surge then a character like him deserve it the most and I would love that time on time in filler episodes, he bodies both the sides as he slowly goes to a morally grey arc like N or Shu Kurenai. This episode was really good! I loved it and I loved the twist in the end even if it's sad because it will be interesting to know what Amethio is going to do now, will he try to regain his grandfather's trust? Or will he give up and join the good guys/reach for his father? Who knows. It's also a possibility that Gibeon mistreated Amethio just to watch how far his grandson is willing to go to carry out his will... anyway I'm excited!

The explorers are only there to serve gibeon there king as loyal servants they have no other purpose this is gibeon mindset and it makes him a great villain. Also no amethio, zirc and onia will not be joining the RVT on the airship there is no room and he even said he is going to take his own path. What I think is going to happen is amethio will go to his dad and other family that are knights because that is amethio theme and they will train to be a knight crew with their own airship that goes on knight missions from time to time like gmen, aura guardians, rangers etc. I definitely think amethio dad has armarouge as his Pokémon and he gave amethio charadet.

I have this wild theory, Liko and Amethio are cousins, or at least related to each other in some way, i'm saying this, because of what Gibeon said to Amethio regarding Amethio's father, that he deviated from the Explorers path, so either Amethio's father is a sibling of Lucca, Liko's mother or Alex, Liko's father

Here is my theory liko is descended from Lucius just a straight bloodline 1 kid each gen and I think he is her great great grandpa writers could add another great and there bloodline is connected to the moon, Roy is descended from a OG explorer and his bloodline is connected to the sun, gibeon is a OG explorer that is immortal or has a really long life span and his bloodline is connected to the stars and I think the other teens in the explorers are also his grandkids and they could be siblings to each other or half siblings or cousins depending on how many kids gibeon has and if they want to go further with the bloodlines, friede bloodline could have connections with the sky. The reason terapagos and rayquaza only active after years, 100 in rayquaza case, not sure about terapagos is because more then 1 bloodline was present they could even expand it further if they wanted to like dot bloodline is connected to the earth and Anne bloodline is connected to the ocean.

😂😂😂😂... Amethio's heel turm was even obvious to Ray Charles. Tbf.. Yeah. Of course Amethio's dumb ass would be kicked out. His job was to catch Terapagos, he had the perfect opportunity and refused to do it. Gibeon did what Giovanni should have done to Team Rocket. Especially the episodes where they actively worked against the interest of the entire organization because it would make them look like failures.
