Couldn’t believe it when I saw the Amex gold’s annual fee went up to £195 now I’m really considering if it’s worth paying that much for a cc I can’t fully utilise

I know, didn't see it coming either! I think it's mostly down to how much a person values the increased MR earning rate the Gold card provides. Because even if you fully use the Deliveroo and lounge access benefits, these alone don't justify the new annual fee in my view.
