Amex Business Gold, Amex Blue Business Plus! If you travel a lot the Amex Business Platinum card will make sense! I cherish my Amex Business Plum card as well it’s a powerful card if you need it to be!

This was an excellent overview. However, I am currently enjoying using the American Express "Plum" card. This "charge" only card more than meets all my needs (smile ... smile).

Does this business card have order which should we get first? Like If we apply for business platinum, we will not get the sign-up bonus for a business gold in the future? Thanks! Very great content! :)

Hi, So if you apply for the Amex Platinum, apparently Amex is making it harder to get a sign-up bonus for lower tier cards that are in the same card family (such as the Gold or Green card). So if you want a better chance of getting a sign-up bonus for more than one card, it might make sense to start with a lower tier card and move your way up. But just know that Amex does limit the amount of cards you can apply for and ultimately hold.

Start with the Blue, then Green, Plum, then Gold, Platinum based on how Amex works now. But I started with the Hilton, then Platinum, then Plum and the Bonvoy. Some folks don't use like the Green or Plum because the benefits are limited. However I find that the Plum is great as a mini bridge loan. The personal green is good for travel ancillaries that the business green doesn't offer.

My husband and I use Delta a majority of the time for flights due to frequent upcoming trips to Peru. He also owns a business. Would it be better to get a Platinum Skymiles Amex (3x miles for flight purchases) or a business Amex and transfer the points to Skymiles?

Btw we also have a Venture X card but realized too late Capital One doesn’t transfer to Delta. We take our family to Disney World annually and might also have other family trips coming up in the future which would factor into the business card choice. But travel to Peru is the priority and Delta is pretty much the only airline that has regular flights there and is the only airline that partners with LATAM.

Thanks for your question! Either the Delta SkyMiles Platinum business or personal card are great cards, it just depends on which one will suite your needs. The personal card has a much better miles earning potential than the business card which can provide a lot of value over time. With a Business Amex card (depending on which one) you will have more options for using your points as you can easily transfer them to a large range of different airlines and hotel partners. But remember that the Delta SkyMiles Platinum card offers the annual companion certificate which can be really quite valuable!

@@gabrielahada Yes I mean just the regular consumer Delta SkyMiles Platinum Card. I believe you should be able to get a signup bonus for each card as one is a business card and the other is a consumer card, but it's worth asking Amex first just to make sure!
