Very nice video! I love that you really make the viewer feel like they’re walking next to you.

Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy my other content as well. Basically that is my goal with the walk and talk videos, to show you things as they really are from a first-person perspective and make you feel like you're actually there with me explaining things. hehehe Cheers!

The night walk! I can only imagine how lively, kind of like how the bath house in the movie ‘spirited away’ is at night compared to day. Lots of people wearing black and blue blazers, so much it is eye catching lol. I love these videos especially while waiting for food to cook or before bedtime. The sukajan shop, aisle of little shops packed with things, and food is my favorite here. Thank you! 💛

I won't be able to make the Thursday premiere due to an appointment, but I hope everyone who tunes into the premiere has a great time chatting about the video tour and hanging out with one another! I'm really looking forward to reading the live chat afterwards. hehehe If you enjoyed this tour of so many things in such a short distance, let me know what was the coolest thing you saw? What questions do you have? Leave them down below! Thanks!

Dead serious, I love these little niche arcade-style marketplaces... They just have that vibe that you can't necessarily get in big places like Akiba.

Yeah, there aren't too many markets with this kind of vibe in Tokyo. Ueno is a vibe, in and of itself. hehehe Thanks for watching!

Im happy to see that the nostalgic street fighter arcade is back in that akihabara alley, it was temporary gone from Drew’s livestream a couple weeks back

Thank you for the interesting walk. I hope to see you visit some more of those stores outside of golden week. I have to admit I'm still not used to no longer seeing the Sega signs.

Yes! I can't wait for Golden Week to be over so I can commute and film without worrying about massive crowds of people. And yeah, Akihabara doesn't feel the same anymore. Thank you for leaving a comment, Simon!

Luv Ur Walking Tours! Just wonder if Post Offices are located everywhere in Japan since I was told there are speciality post cards of each prefecture. And they are very unique!!!

Same thing happened in the young cool drinking area in my city on east coast USA, nobody there cared throughout the pandemic and covid cases soared there within just a few blocks.

Yeah, a lot of people just threw caution to the wind. I think Japan was really lucky to not have had such a massive outbreak and death situation like the U.S., India, or China had.

Another great video my guy! I was wondering since you said your Dad was in the military growing up, did you celebrate American holidays or Japanese ones or, both.
@CoryMay81
@CoryMay81 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I'm an American, through and through, even though I was born and raised here in Japan. We did Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. and my schools were all American on the military bases, so of course we did stuff at school as well. Thanks for the question!

I would love to if I had the money! I went to Hong Kong in 2016 for just a day trip and it was really great! I spent about 12 hours around the city and on the island. It was a 16-hour layover on my way to Rome, Italy. So many things to still see and explore there.

So many big Genshin ads! Too bad the idols were not on stage. I only have seen the big events like AKB48 and for the life of me cannot think that three girls jumping around on such a small stage with 20 dudes watching could be entertaining, so I am really curious about it now lol.

It was filmed this past Monday, which was during Golden Week. But, Monday wasn't a national holiday, so many kids had to go to school still. In the beginning of the video, you can see many high schoolers in school uniforms walk by me. It was also a little after 2pm, so any kids that do go to these places were probably still on their way or went later on.

All of my videos, for almost 10 years, have been free to watch. But there are thousands and thousands of hours of filming and editing that went into my channel (and other KZbinr's channels). Ads help us get a little money back for all of our hard work to bring you videos to watch for free. So please take that into consideration before complaining about ads.
@weerifcho
@weerifcho 2 жыл бұрын
I've been watching your videos for three hours from 9 this morning and watching at least 30 ads. Is my complaint unfair? To watch an hour-long video of other Japanese travel KZbinrs, I usually had to watch about three advertisements. But if you want to watch your video from beginning to end, you have to watch 10 commercials. Be aware that you put out a lot of ads before using the rude word "complaint" to your viewers. I've never interrupted this video and I've been playing it on TV for an hour. The 100% viewing time of this video today will be me. I think I deserve to complain. Please note that too many advertisements do not mean that the video is not good, but that viewers who enjoy watching the video feel tired. Think about whether there are too many 10 ads in a video, or if I watch too many of your videos in an hour. I very much agree with you about making legitimate money. But when the 10th commercial came out, I felt that the good impression of the video gradually disappeared.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience while viewing the video. We have no control over how many ads are played or when they are played throughout the video. I guess with longer videos, more ads are played. It's not that different from regular TV, I guess, which also plays lots of commercials. Anyways, thanks for the feedback and for watching.
