Since 2016, the American Family Insurance Championship has raised more than $17 million for American Family Children’s Hospital at UW Health and many non-profits. With half of the tournament proceeds benefitting the American Family Children’s Hospital, over $8 million has gone to support staff, programs, and families at the hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Titus and his family have experienced that world-class care first-hand. At birth, Titus appeared to a healthy newborn, weighing nearly 8½ pounds. It would not be long, however, before Titus' parents - Nicole and Eric - discovered that their newborn third child would be struggling for survival with every breath. Testing revealed that Titus's breathing troubles were attributed to a jaw deformity. At only a couple months old, he was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Syndrome.
Eight surgeries later, Titus hasn't let it hold him back. As a feisty and confident kid who loves playing with his two older siblings, Tenley and Tucker. Mom and dad keep a close eye on them and can’t say enough about all the doctors, nurses and staff involved in Titus's care at American Family Children’s Hospital.
