@@cosmicguy8107 Heya -- It's more accurate to say that impressionism is characterized by its lack of functional harmony and traditional chords, which is definitely the case in Seawards in many areas With that being said, impressionism still frequently includes minor & dominant 9th chords, diminished 7ths, etc

@@Hesi-m2e physical modeling synthesis! In other words the strings and such are made mostly by algorithms instead of audio samples, so you can control the expression and other elements a lot more. I'll make a video sometime in the near future on how I made seawards :)

Where do the woodwind sounds come from? They're beautiful!! I'm assuming there's quite a lot of automation involved in humanising them?

@@joelall1son they're physically modeled synths, as most of the instruments in this are!! And yea it's almost entirely automation Doing a video on writing MIDI piano but after that I'll probably do one on how I wrote seawards Thanks for listening!
