@@KB-qk1ic that gives the organization way too much power, I’d rather the nba not go the route of the nfl where the owners literally don’t have to honor their contracts, if a player gets injured on the job, the only way that doing that would be just is if you worked it like a cap adjustment, pay them their entire contract, but make the salary on the books lower to give the team some more cap space, there needs to be parity, however, owners shouldn’t be able to say “fuck this guy, I signed him to a 6 year extension & he got injured in a game”, to do that is complete bs because these guys are underpaid if they are performing well their first four years, you’re not just paying them for the work they’re going to do for your team, you’re paying them for the 2 all nba appearances and 3 playoff births you got out of their rookie contract, if a player just quits on their team, they should be punished, but if you’re injured, you’ve, and I don’t mean to offend any service people by saying this, you’ve essentially fallen in the line of duty

Shit makes no sense and I think we are looking far too much into it… it feels to me that’s hes dealing with depression from all of the outside voices shaming him for being out of shape and for being fat.. this is making him want to shelter himself and not be around anyone especially out in public.. he’s probably living day to day thinking that once he can get to a point where he feels confident again then he can come out of no where all ready to go.. the problem is that it takes time and sometimes when your mindset is like this tomorrow never comes.. I’d be surprised if another team would be willing to give up much for such an uncertain future for him tbh

If the Knicks realistically wanted Zion they'd have to put out an initial offer of Randle, Quickley and at least 2 x 1st round picks for just Zion plus some random dump contract if they need to make the money work. The question is whether Zion is worth the potential risk. Personally, if I was Scott Perry and Leon Rose, I would 100% say yes to this deal especially given how Julius has been with on court shit this year. A somewhat healthy Zion would be a major improvement over Randle especially with his past successes in college playing alongside RJ, and in NOLAs case they get a really good PF who could possibly pair well with Ingram and JV as a physical net presence. If Julius has a fresh start and less fan pressure NOLA could be a perfect fit for him. The addition of Quickley to boot would also be a great bolster to their guard core with CJ and Hart plus those 1sts will likely be top10 picks which is even better if NOLA wants to properly rebuild around CJ+Ingram.

Zion doesn't have the leverage to force a trade. Yes he looked phenomenal the games he played but his lack of playing has overshadowed that at this point. If he gets offered a max extension he should thank his lucky stars. Foot injuries are tricky. I hope he comes back healthy and reaches his potential. He'll be worth every penny of that extension but at this point I'm don't see that happening. If he is trying to force his way out then clearly he thinks he's going to be healthy long term. With daily life health on the line, it is time to speak up and ask for a change, his silence and lack of commitment is his way to say "i dont want to be here". But if he wont speak, him and the pelicans will be stuck in this trap and couldn't rebuild themselves. Zion need it physically and mentally, and the pelicans system needs to (in my opinion) acquire better management, training crew, medical staff, because something needs to be shaken if they messed up to first pick big men in a seven year margin. Also setting Cj McCollum as a leader in a rebuild is a great idea, he is mature and can be the the one who get the best from the pelicans roster.

Zion hasn't gone through, as far as we know, anything near as bad. The organization has been intent on trying to keep him and has built a very good roster around him. The loss of Ball was unfortunate, but they got McCollum for cheap and Valanciunas has played exceptionally well. A great team is waiting for him and a great opportunity. And he doesn't have near enough seasons under his belt to be playing around with this injury. If teams feel he's badly injury prone this early in his career, it's only gone drive his value down hard.

Didn’t Seattle already have a team that they lost. Where is this nonsense coming from. The Pelicans are middle of the pack in attendance, they just traded for a Star in CJ McCollum who wanted to be here, and they have a owner who said that even when she dies the Pelicans will be donated to the City of New Orleans until a owner from New Orleans is able to buy the team. Stop the capping💯💯💯

I stayed at same hotel as pelicans in nashville and yes Zion was in fact NOT there. I even asked an assistant coach if Zion was here and his mood changed and said no.

Can you pleeeeaaaaaase make a video about Ja morant
@Momosrevenge2 жыл бұрын
He needs to stop being a petty child. You have a plethora of talent around you. See what ja morant is doing with the grizzlies? Zion is good enough to be that. Lead this damn team to victory Zion, start your own culture down there bro.

If Zion goes on a show ( as you suggest) all of you guys are going to pin point everything he says. This is only going to open up more storylines that he doesn’t need. Whatever he has to say, you guys are going to criticize it. That’s the bottom line…. Period

Basketball aside, Zion is really making a mistake by keeping his teammates at a distance. Most dudes in the NBA (and any sport, really) make life-long bonds with their teammates over the years.

You want him out of New Orleans? How is he going to fit on the plane? You want to be a star, then work hard. Be a good teammate and stay in shape. Te Pelicans better get rid of him as fast as they can before everyone realizes he's a liability.

I really am tired of Jaylen being brought into trade conversations when there is ZERO indication he or the Celtics want a trade. Please just cut it out. It is unfounded.
@antwan13572 жыл бұрын
This is like the argument for James Harden either stays as a bench player for Oklahoma , or he becomes a starter for another team. Zion should seek another team as it is obvious he wont be a starter unless he leaves.

I would trade Zion to New York only if I get his 2 Duke teammates as part of the package for him! Because if he is going to be a jerk I'm going to be one to and stop his dream team up!
