I love these old machines. It’s art that new machines hide.

I spy a AMI Continental 2 in the background. I have a 1961 AMI Continental 2 100 selection that I will be restoring. I have never done one before so I will be leaning on your videos for sure. Subscribed for sure.

Hi, my husband and I just purchased an AMI Rowe F120 1954 jukebox. We want to restore it and your 2 videos are extremely helpful but we do have couple questions. Would you be able to guide us ?

Hello, glad you liked the videos. Due to work, family & other hobby obligations on our end- we recommend joining a jukebox forum on Facebook or other platform.

I'm in Utah and I have one of these. I live your video on this. However I think its beyond my skills. Could you recommend who I could go to and do I bring it to them. It's in my basement and it's heavy. My dad said it needed a motor. He said not to plug it in in the house plug so it doesn't light up now. Please help. I want it to work so much

I have a few ideas- post a wanted ad for a repair person, contact local amusement businesses & see if they know of a hobbiest in the area, join a Facebook group or two & ask for references. Quality repairs will not be cheap or fast.

I have a rough AMI F-120 that seems to have a seized transfer assembly record release cam. Any comments on how to proceed?
@PinballMayhem3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question, if it is old grease that caused it - then use a hair dryer to warm the parts up. This will soften up the old lubricant and allow you to disassemble the parts and clean them. Good luck on your repairs.

@@PinballMayhem I got lucky and didn't have to drive out the rolled pin to disassemble the transfer gearbox. I soaked it in mineral spirits overnight and was then able slowly work out the gunk that kept the cam from operating. Now it goes through the transfer sequence just fine. Thanks for your input.

I don’t have any spare parts. I recomend joining a Ami jukebox group on face book. I got a ton of parts on there.

will a 80 mech fit in a 120
@PinballMayhem11 ай бұрын
The 80 is a smaller cabinet and mech is also smaller width wise. Could it fit inside yes but modification would have to be made. 120 mechs are more common to find anyways. Electrically I think it could be made to work just don’t plug in the top 40 selector plugs. But with the avalibility of 120 mechs I don’t know if the extra work is beneficial.

Hey I have a AMI D-40, and I just bought a couple selector buttons off of eBay because one is missing and I plan on changing it myself but I have no idea how to properly do it, any help would be much appreciated!

I haven't had to replace any buttons on either of my g and f models. i would ask on a Facebook group specific to AMI jukeboxes.
