yes, because the original mod podge isn't suited for fabrics,,,its more of a paper to hard surface kind of thing if you get what i'm saying...I'm pretty sure there is a fabric mod podge you can try that..also i really suggest you seal the final product with a finishing spray such as acrylic because the mod podge stays slightly sticky and will attract dirt and debris with out a sealant

mod podge is usually not waterproof so be careful, if the stuff you have crafted gets wet, it will be sticky again! be sure to get some spray sealant or waterproof mod podge :)

In the UK you can get mod podge from Hobbycraft or EBay. Or it's thinned PVA.

I've been using mod podge for years now and I've always found it really only works if you use color laser paper prints. Like, anything (text, photos, designs, etc...) can be printed on laser paper (not inkjet), and if you don't own one, you can do it at any copy store that is near you. Just ask for the standard laser paper, and print color. ;) I'm a little sketch about this shoe experiment (but it might be worth trying at least), but mod podge is really a paper-based craft product, and I feel it might be too challenged by the daily hurdles that shoes go through...

You can make your own....take regular white glue and just add a little bit of water to it to thin it out....BOOM!....Mod Podge....lol

You can find it at Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Walmart craft isle. Really any craft store should carry it. If you're still having trouble, just ask someone who works there. Some stores put it in the oddest places because it is such a versatile art supply. (hope this helps)

Hobbyloseskind1995 if your worried about the result lasting when dry you can coat it with a product like triple thick spray or any good lacquer you have around on a budget you can use hair spray but it may not last as well over time
