I’ve been honoured to see this woman live. She was meant to sing at Manchester, but obviously there was the concert that had the horrible incident. I went to see her as she came to town near me. She is better live, she sounds the same and hits the notes higher. She even does jokes and talks so much. She is a angel and I’d see her again and every song I don’t love. She got emotional at show but was strong….her husband died not long before and dedicated it to him. At end of day, he may have been a lot older and met her at when she was young but he saw talent and she wouldn’t be where she was without him…he loved her and believed her. Also when she sung I’m alive she said “you are alive” for people of Manchester.

When i was a young 18 year old boy working the bar in Liverpool..id get home bout 12 am in morning with a couple off Newcastle brown ales and watch music channel this was massive back then as melancholy as this song is i loved it ..inspired me to find that right partner in life...i lived and loved and lost many women i should have kept...or vice a versa...any hows..im 48 now and im all by myself..but still..she smashes this song..and i always feel the emotion she puts into it..a legend
