I lived in Canada for many years. Sikh thugs from Punjab have come in large numbers since 1995 claiming asylum. While a small number work as truck drivers, latrine decloggers, and low-level security guards, the majority enter criminal gangs and quickly start armed robbery, drug peddling, warehouse robberies, contract killing etc. This has spread even in USA. Please investigate this angle. Most of the Canadian Sikhs have immigrated to Canada as asylum seekers, now after 10 years or so when they are financially comfortable, they are unable to visit India because they falsely claimed that they were being persecuted to migrate. Hence the call for a separate state. Indian Sikhs are not so keen on Khalistan movement. Actually many Hindu radicals have been jailed over the years, so I don’t know what you are talking about. I don’t like the BJP’s ideology either but you clearly don’t live in India and have no idea of the ground reality here even with BJP in power at the moment. In India Sikhs are put on a pedestal. We have had. Sikh PM, Sikh generals and Air Chiefs, industrialists and famous doctors / lawyers. Even our film industry glorifies them.
