California, won't even dredge the sediment out if their lakes! Put in these? Full of dirt in two years! They would rather the feds (read: you and me) give them money for gender studies!

Jerry Newberry you correct on the Gender studies 😂

What is a dry monsoon? Never heard of it.
@Thunderbyrd.3 жыл бұрын
It's a waterless rain event. (?)
@darcandelaria3 жыл бұрын
We get monsoon season here in Nevada and Arizona. It's desert rain in the summertime.

A drilled well and a simple farm wind turbine to act as the pump might help to take the cost down for many catchments over time.

"Sportsmen" are the best friends most game animals have, and no, it isn't just so they can shoot them later.

Hunting licenses pay for the bulk of animal conservation.

@@mmaaddict78 you are correct most people don't know the we the hunters/fisherman are the ones who ensure healthy and abundant wildlife

This would be great, and it is, but I have a feeling it is also to benefit the hunters!
@Brenda0312F3 жыл бұрын
It’s exactly to benefit the hunters. He said so at the beginning. So what? Why Are you against people sustaining their own family tables with fresh meats that are not filled with antibiotics and hormones?
@touchofgrey53723 жыл бұрын
@@Brenda0312F I have a feeling whatever my reply would be, I just couldn't get through to you. But, let's just say I've known some responsible hunters! (If fish and game were to find out about it, they'd in prison for years!)

If the Federal Government can spend $85 billion dollars in Afghanistan why can't they fund beneficial projects like this to support wildlife in America?!

It's nice to see Arizona spending money on something that's worthwhile. Not on bullshit audits of voters' ballots.
@jeremiahcherry52833 жыл бұрын
Oh I agree, forget spending money on audits of ballots despite there being massive fraud that took place, instead lets pay a bunch of people to truck in water to locations where animals have been surviving through seasonal droughts in the desert for generation after generation. Such a great way to spend money.

They're everywhere out there on State land. Most are pretty full now. Some are super hard to get to. Best part is that they're fenced off from cattle so the water stays really clean. It's awesome.
