Taxes do not pay for this. They are funded by license sales and donations. They are the only government agency that actually works. It’s interesting that the only agency that is not funded through taxes, can support themselves. No one has to support them, and they are thoroughly funded.
@strangevisions5162

@@someguy1508 because if tax dollars funded them, there's be 30000 catchments instead of 3000, it would cost 10000 per truck instead of 1000, and there would be daily strategy meetings and trips to Africa and Europe instead of water deliveries. There would also be a Water Diversity Czar, masks required for employees working in the desert, and yearly budget shortfalls.

Americans 🇺🇸💪💪💪👍💯 don’t realize how lucky they are to live in houses where #free water from rain can be collected during SHTF. Wait till you live in supercities like in China 🇨🇳 #1 where when power is shut and you have to physically haul water up and down 20,30,40 etc stories without elevators… then we appreciate we actually have a backyard where we have that open air surface areas for rain collection. Such is #freedom.
