Now I want to do civil engineering course from a govt approved body and AMIE is the best option but I have found it is only eligible those who have done diploma in engineering..... Hello sir, i'm an AMIE student. I can answer ur question. You can absolutely enroll in AMIE to get an engineering degree. But if u enroll on 12th qualification, you will have to clear 10 subjects in section -A. For, diploma passed students, there are only 4 subjects in section-A. In section - B, u will have to clear 9 subjects in which 6 are regular subjects and 3 are to be selected by u from any one group out of 3 groups. But as of now, u can't enroll in AMIE because of the ongoing case about AMIE. Once the case is cleared u can then enroll in AMIE

@@Akshsky Yeas, you can enroll in AMIE on ITI qualification. But ITI is considered as 12th pass. So u will have to clear 10 subjects in AMIE sec - A. But AMIE admissions are temporarily closed because of the AMIE recognition issue.The case is pending in Delhi high court. If IEI, the institution which provides the AMIE course wins the case, only then the admissions will restart. It's better to find another way to get a degree rather than AMIE.
