that was really cool that while snoop was hanging out in the basement he agreed to make that video plug for you. He’s such a cool guy man. I still can’t believe that magic trick he did in front of us. That was awesome!

I love the throwing up bubble wrap at the beginning. The amount of times these videos make me laugh.

I lived in the San Diego area for more than 20 years, I never heard Borrego Springs referred to that way before. Thank you for the chuckle

I have a soft spot for the A2000, it was the first Amiga I bought new because of the expansion slots for the Toaster, PAR, Accelerator cards and of course more memory. Congrats on saving another Amiga Chris, take care. 😃

They said the Amiga was ahead of its time in 1985. Now we know why. They came from Dr Chris’s basement in the future! #timetravelamiga

Best Amiga ever. Lots of slots that were all on the motherboard where they belong and not on a stupid daughterboard heating up and destroying every other card above it. That was just dumb. Whoever came up with that idea of installing cards horizontally needs to be flogged.

Had trouble with modern displays not working with my A2000 when connected to RGB. Found out I needed an adapter that has a buffer inside. The regular straight through adapters did not work.

Thanks Dr Chris 👍🏻 Talking of 9 pin ports on the Amiga. My Rev 2 A4KD board suffers with the up on the joystick port not working. CIA’s test out on ATK. What should I be checking here? Cheers 🍻

He's using the Putty terminal program to get the info from the diagnostic rom in the Amiga (coming from the Amiga's own serial port). It's a neat trick that rom can do and also a nice way to confirm that your Amiga serial port works. ;)
