It's such a great frontend, been running v2.5 since it came out. Unfortunately at the moment on his website, the AGS_RHW_AGA_v26 version has the hdf and not the img file so it's not usable on real hardware. Hopefully he can sort this out, would much prefer to run it on the real deal.

Yes offcourse its the best experience on the real deal, Amiga 4 ever buddy. Well i got good news for you, just get the hdf file, and rename it to .img and burnthe image, it works GREAT!! :-)

@@RETROCENGO Before my last comment I did actually write the hdf file with Disk Imager and it seemed to write successfully, but when I tried it in my A1200, no dice. So changed the hdf to img and write it again and was a successful write but still not working on my A1200. Was starting to think maybe my PCMCIA adaptor was the issue so tried again without but still no go. The only other hardware I have in my A1200 that would be different to most peeps is I have Rapid Road USB card installed. Or maybe my image is corrupt and need to download another one. AGS 2.5 and 2.3b worked fine in my A1200 with Rapid Road and PCMCIA adaptor so I'm really hoping it's just a bad image I've got or maybe I'll reformat the CF card and try again.

@@RETROCENGO So I've grabbed another copy of 2.6 RHW which is 28.5GB (2.5 was 15.1GB), checked the CF card to make sure it's full working order ANNND still no boot :( Hmmm I wonder if it's Kickstart 3.2, I don't really want to change it back to 3.1 or 3.1.4 I use another CF Card with Workbench 3.2 on it. Have you tried AGS v2.6 with Kickstart 3.2 ??

@@RETROCENGO After further investigation, I ended up digging out another A1200 I have, a stock CPU with 8MB fast, KS 3.1, Indivision AGA MK1 and AGS v2.6 worked perfectly fine first try. So I'm gonna assume it has something to do with Kickstart 3.2 as to why it's not booting on my main A1200.

@@off1k dude, just read on Facebook how many problems people have with newer kickstarts🤣 it’s crazy. Just put in 3.1 and enjoy your amiga

@RETROCENGO Seen a few AGS videos, looks great, tends to be high end systems or Pi. How about a video of if on your A500+ with the Spitfire card?

This AGS version 2.6 is amazing. Well the package is for AGA Amigas, that’s why I show them on my Amiga 1200, and it does not need to be high end, just put in 8mb card in your Amiga 1200 and you can run this image all fine. YES Paul V is working in a ocs/ecs version, as soon as the beta test package is ready, I’m gonna test it on my Amiga 500+ with spitfire 500. Stay tuned buddy
