This was pre-rendered usually taking hours to render per frame, and these short animations would fill an entire floppy for sure.

@aggfr2 No, the article explains how it was created in detail. There was never any realtime raytracing this early on. Even mainframes took a long time to render these things. Even when Jurassic Park was created, they couldn't even do the wireframes in realtime. You would need to render those, although they would take minutes instead of hours.

Yes it's pretended but afaik it's rendered using graphics primitives instead of pulling an entire frame from floppy

Nobody said it didn’t. The caption clearly says it shows the early capabilities of the Amiga. Early as in early for home computers and early for the Amiga line.
