I heard loads of good things about this game but i didnt think it lived up to them! Supercars II is better in everyway!
Firstly the only way to brake was to use the handbrake and made you skid. Made the faster cars harder to drive so that you couldnt even take corners like the AI. Tracks got boring after the first time round too. Having to repair your car every race then every two races just seemed shallow. The only race i had fun with was the last one but it did seem unfair how 3 of the cars where faster in everyway than i could be on that race. Uhh and dont get me started on the random placement of hazards! sometimes they could be all on the overtaking side of the road so you find it soo hard to pass cars while the AI dont just glide past! :( -

The Magnetic Fields intro music is taken from Wagner’s Siegfried Funeral March in Twilight of the Gods (Götterdämmerung”). I got into Wagner much later in life, and when I listened to this opera and heard these notes for the first time in something like 20 years, I thought WTF Super Cars?! 😆

I will never forget the EPIC Magnetic Fields intro, so amazing. It has been a long-time inspiration of mine when I've designed various video intros of my own. And I almost shed a tear when I heard that first soundtrack tune with the epic reverb again. The music in both SCars games rocks hard! And those memorable dialogues with the car salesman: "This parrot is dead!" haha! And that hollywood smile on the garage girls' face as she rips you off.. classic :) Great game and a great vid ^_^b

Great game. btw.: Even the shadows casted by the track objects do appear on the cars, must have taken some good programming to achive that. Also do like the fluend, "real" movement / feeling of the track scrolling and the cars, it's not just on/off like in many other games.

This is a very old title released sometime in 1990 where as ATR came much later. Think of this game as a pioneer on the Amiga.
