could I ask if the dancers train themselves physicaaly, like sportsmen? It's because it seems to me a lot of efforts? It's vey beautiful to see....and hear!!!

otakte Of course, and many are athletes. Many female dancers practice yoga, some even are yoga instructors.

thank you for your answer....And how much time you must or can or want to dance? Because, it's not effortless, and when the weather is hot, it's a lot worse! But to hear this music and to see you dancing, I feel my feet moving....

otakte I'm just a film guy, I'm Irish, don't dance powwow. Some songs are 1 minute for a really fast style. Most songs are around 3 minutes. Some songs are over 5 minutes, but slower style. Some dan dancers wear buckskin leather. Women must be covered & modest, so heat is a big challenge. Still, some powwows are 100 degrees, people still dance.

ha, you fool. dancing is something universal and has nothing to do with your color of skin.

13v950 your interpretation of what I said is just plain stupid. I was not talking about any culture. Being black does not equal living in a black culture.
