I literally started to crochet less than a week ago, and I find your videos super helpful and easy to follow! I think the last time I tried was in elementary school. My plushies are still a little wonky, but I'm enjoying the practice. I thought I'd give the nicer ones to my friends and donate the rest to a local cat rescue. I started with the whale and did this one today. I even started my own crafts insta to document my progress, so be prepared to see me spam your likes lol

Do it! Also be sure to embroider eyes for cat toys! Those safety eyes will get chewed off! You could also put cat nip in the centers of your amigurumi to make them cat nip toys! 😁 Glad you’re getting back into it!
@risuaita3 жыл бұрын
@@KnitGrit Yeah I don't have any safety eyes on hand BUT I have also gotten into cross stitching so I already had embroidery stuff 😄 the catnip is a great idea though, thanks for the tip!

Thank you for such a cute pattern. I've been struggling to find something cute for my grandchildren for Easter. I have ten to make so need something cute but quick to make. Love the increase method, never seen that before. Will definitely be using that from now on. Take care and keep safe. xxJane

Thank you! I’m also using this same body to make little mini bunnies, but I definitely think the birdies would be faster to make. They’re so cute! Are they going in Easter baskets? 🥰

I wonder how I could add a little top feather thing, such as with a cockatiel or a cardinal. Other than that this is such a nice little tutorial!

These look amazing but can you do them in DK?
@KnitGrit3 жыл бұрын
You could, you would just wind up having to use a smaller hook and end up with a smaller bird.

Hi! Love the video but I’m in a bit of a conundrum. Whenever I start doing the 6 sc, for the LIFE of me, I cannot get a tail that’ll close the ring, it always seems to be in the wrong place. Any tips on how to fix this?

Is it possible to extend the free coupon? I was really busy this week and I missed the deadline to get the pattern free. I really want to make these as a birthday gift for my grandma but I also have no money 😔

If you click the settings icon on the video, you can go to an option called "playback speed". There you can choose a slower speed 😊

I have a question, can I sell my work t my high school
@KnitGrit9 ай бұрын
Absolutely. I have a video discussing selling work made from my patterns. Basically, as long as you acknowledge it's my pattern, you're free to sell whatever you make. You made it! lol. :)
