Yeeeeeah if you mess up your weapon switch at the wrong time.......it's basically dead.........the only weapon mode I use for trio is either a mg or rocket........well rocket mostly to deal with pesky pilot while shotgun not so much.

bit late to the draw but i got a chance to test my assumption: "but together the collective DPS is much higher" a common misconception, actually. both point blank shotgun and regular MG are more DPS than assault mode, but the clear advantage of assault is the infinite ammo, giving trio no downtime in DPS rather than more DPS overall.

I rarely use trio's shotgun but i implement my aurora playstyle by using the rocket launcher and keeping my distance

Mhm, using the shotgun is often too risky unless you're committing to the kill

i used to think that until i forgot how much burst dmg it does. Use assault mode to approach and get fast dmg then shutgun since ur up close (risky because u dont have assault mode to zoom out of there)

Hi Amiima, I just reinstalled SMC after 2 years and after playing for some time I found that I'm the most powerful trio in India. I also found that I'm only good with trio and no other mech or even pilot and my gameplay is not as good as it used to be. Thank you for this guide, hoping to use it to up my game. Would appreciate other mech suggestion since I haven't unlocked any mechs apart from trio and handful base mechs

even though i claim to be a trio main, i feel ashamed that i dont know much of the info you provided, especially about the module 1 buff ended up using caramel more since using trio just gave me a higher lose streak during human fights

@@krauss9345 I normally just use machine gun and rocket since most enemy either run away or get to close but then run away...... couldn't switch to shotgun so I just use machine gun at close range and rocket to snipe.

Well,i using modules on balanse damage for all ranges and reload speed,and on max shield recovery with Ivan buff, not OP but pretty good survivability.

Hey there im an android player i want to improve my aims with the shotgun there are times my shotgun shots barely does damage to my enemies. Does shot velocity help out with the shotgun range? What do you suggest i should do?

Shotgun pellets deal less damage and less pellets are likley to hit the farther you are. Since you should be close up when using the shotgun, travel velocity shouldn't be a big factor and wouldn't be worth building for. TLDR: Get closer for shotgun shots or just use the MG instead. The MG/Shotgun DPS is comparable, but shotgun is scarier/for mobility

Trio's rockets have a ridiculous hitbox, so you can outpoke a lot of enemies on top of buildings even at range

@@amiima1 not against Raven who 3 shot my trio or that gaberial spot on top of the Eiffel tower. Those were the recent scenarios I just dealt with

@@torrieitazura4343 the best way to combat a Raven or Gabriel that stalk from the roof is to either close the distance fast and over well with every skill you have or if you are far from them keep out of their site forcing them to either leave or get closer giving you the chance to close in a rain fire on them. Easier said then done but it's really how you play
