I used to switch between Arthur, Hotsteel, and Raven in my first 2 weeks of playing SMC, Arthur being my most played one. This video convinced me to have Michael as my first 20k purchase, and man, I have never looked back. I gotta admit that the skill ceiling is indeed high, but pulling off sick plays and just blitzing around mechs like I have infinite dashes feels so damn good.

Personally, the thing that won me over with Micheal is that it acts as a mini doom light with the mine feathers. I love hit and run engineers! Jojo also works as a good candidate with the bots but it doesn’t have enough speed

Im fairly new to smc. What do you mean by mecha skills at 6:47? Is that pilot abilities? do I need to use both combat control and hive infrastructure or just have one equipped 😖 still so much to learn, but this has been a fantastic guide feel like I understand how to use micheal so much better thank you :) 👍

Mecha skills are basically skills "from" a pilot that take effect when piloting a mecha. You can only use one mecha skill at a time, so recommend Hive Infrastructure for newer players for Michael. If you play Ning, you already have Hive Infrastructure equipped by default for that character under Pilot Bond.

it depends on your playstyle, Wings of Swiftness is a lot better for fighting up close

Good movment and positioning. Also, use primary to discourage the enemy from pushing you. Never try to tank damage with a mobility mech, except when using Hurricane
