A doubtful hospitality when ministers speak that way about other humans..

Planning a trip next August was gonna pick between amilla and milaidhoo for anniversary trip. Which would you choose between the 2?

Hi :) It's quite a close call, but maybe Milaidhoo if you don't go with children because it's adults only which gives it a nice quiet feel. Also, if you like snorkeling, Milaidhoo's reef is better than Amilla's. But food-wise, service-wise and so on, it's equal I would say. Price-wise, they are also pretty close....

@@dreamytravels1 thanks! Definitely no children as it’s a suprise 10 year anniversary trip as well as my wife’s 40th birthday. My wife has celiacs and shellfish allergies so it seemed like amilla had better menus towards that. But after looking they both seem to cater towards allergies just amilla a bit more. But yes we would like a more peaceful atmosphere for relaxation and the better food I would say. And I guess which one has the better water villa as that’s where we would probably spend a lot of time as well.

To be honest, the villas is not the key selling point of any of these 2 resorts. They are both relatively small (for Maldives standards) and very close to each other. Overall I'd lean towards Milaidhoo I think, for the fact that there's no children:)

@@MatthewPorporaI would go with Milaidhoo if you are looking to just relax. The only problem I can see is that it can be a little boring. At first I didn’t mind being on smaller islands with less water sports etc. But when I visited a resort with it, I enjoyed that a lot more. Especially playing tennis, jet ski, etc. So keep that in mind when making your decision.

@@JK-td7ky thanks for the insight. But probably mostly be doing relaxing as we don’t get much free time with 3 young children and work schedules. So that’ll be a priority but will probably do snorkeling. And maybe like an excursion like dolphin watching or something of the sorts. I was originally going to go Conrad as I’m a Hilton diamond member with plenty of points and free night credits but now the small luxury hotel group is Hilton so I have access to water villa at milaidhoo as a standard room redemption as well as amilla sunset water villa. I could go to Huvafen Fushi as well but my wife would be extremely limited on food choices at that resort as they don’t seem to cater as much towards celiacs.
