Great video ! I love Frapin 1270, Dior Fève délicieuse and Jo Malone Myrhh & Tonka. I would add Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir and Maître Parfumeur et Gantier Ambre Mythique (this one is absolutely not on the gourmandish side but is deep, warm, beautiful so perfect for fall). They sell Carolina Herrera Confidential range on Corte Inglès in Spain and Harrod's in GB. On my next travel, I look for them. Thanks for this video.

Syringia are the lilac family...my grama used to call these whitish lilac blossoming trees "syringee" trees, and say how much she loved them, and when I grew up, I found out they were Syringia trees, basically a white lilac.

Hi Ami, I really enjoy your videos! Such evocative descriptions and fun to watch! Oriental spicy vanillas are one of my favourite categories too! Have you tried Mona di Orio Vanille or I Profumi di Firenze Ambra del Nepal? The Mona di Orio is on the smokier side, but still lots of gorgeous vanilla, and the Ambra del Nepal is maybe more linear, would love to hear your thoughts :) Do you have favourites in Oriental Woody category? One of my favorite bottle designs. My husband just got Jovoy Psychedelique, it's quite something! It was an immediate love for him, I may need to give it a few wears. I just sampled Caftan last week, quite lovely. Two of my newest loves are Jo Malone : they did two Oak scents, Oak & Hazelnut (delicious.) and Oak and Red Current (delightful.). Other than that, I'll be picking & choosing from the perfume larder. :D
