Father, you are so funny.. Your videos are so attractive to tells the world how joy become the disciples of Jesus as a monk or seminarian.. Well, actually I am seminarian too and your way to share the joy as a monk is very inspiring especially for the young generation.. Gruss Gott, Mein Herr! LOL Did you happen to hear the one about the cross-dresser who showed up during Mass? After he saw one priest all decked up in his robes and vestments, swinging his incenser back and forth, filling the who sanctuary with incense smoke, the transvestite called out to him and said, "Hey, that dress of yours is a real stunner, honey, but you better be careful...I think your purse is on fire!" LOL ;-) Courtesy of 'Uncle Miltie'...Milton Berle "Deliver me from sullen-faced saints, O Lord!" - St Teresa of Avila

Cute. Since a lot of the youths enjoyed their WYD experience I was always wondering about how many of them actually took the time to visit Auschwitz? I ask this because I'm at least glad that Pope Francis made a point of taking the time to visit such a place especially when St. Maximilian Kolbe chose to give up his life just so that another human being could live. I'm actually glad that it was St. Pope John Paul ll that had the opportunity to canonize both St. Faustina as well as St. Kolbe. As far as St. Faustina's diary every single Catholic should read it because it's so hard to put down once you pick it up.

Hello Tara. Actually most of them where in Auschwitz, it was included in the program before and after the WJD for most of the groups. There were so many visitors in the camp that it was not possible to enter the booths, just walk around them. What you say about God's Mercy is very true. Blessings to Canada!
@taramilne94658 жыл бұрын
This is actually good to hear because all of the videos that I've watched on WYD 2016 I never heard anything about a trip to Auschwitz except for when Pope Francis was there. When I saw that it kept giving me the impression that he was the only one that went there while in Poland. The one reason why I wanted to know this is because that generation could be the key to help prevent future dark events like Auschwitz from ever happening again. I not only pray Divine Mercy daily as well as the Seven Sorrows of Mary, but I try to pray the Chaplet of St. Gertrude every day. If all those people learned the prayer of St. Gertrude and prayed it as well as the chaplet every day just imagine how many people would be released from Purgatory daily. There's your thought for the day. God bless you Fr. Luc.
