Great reaction! Amira projected a formidable B5 towards the end. The sudden descents (while maintaining vibrato) are called portamento. It's a very difficult technique to learn at university level, but Amira was apparently born knowing how to do it with total ease. This aria is not for every soprano, but Amira has been practicing it since she was 9 years old.

Indeed, you are right. But Amira used the same portamento technique, with vibrato at the end and almost instinctively in her rendition of Ave Maria by William Gomez, . She was only 11 and it was wonderful already. A real prodigy...

Amira has an incredible talent to hit a note exactly, and her range is great. She was able to do it at 10, with Andre Rieu, and you can also hear it the following year when she sang Ave Maria Gomez. Coming down to a low note from a high one. Very skilful.

Hello. Great reaction, about a great performance too. Amira said on Instagram that she is now able to hit the E6 note, and it's definitely true ! To give you an idea, it was the highest point of Maria Callas' range. Here, she sounds very high too... Indeed, Amira sings a difficult Italian aria of the opera La Wally, composed by Alfredo Catalani in 1892. This is the moment when Wally, a Tyrolian girl, decides to leave the familial house and go to the mountains, rather than marrying the man chosen by her old and rich father. "Ebben ? Ne andrò lontana" is an aria for a soprano lirico-spinto. So, Amira's voice is still changing, becoming more powerful, and her Italian diction is better too. In my opinion, she has still a great room for progression. Just wait a couple of years, and we'll see.

This video is of end of 2023 , Amira with 19 years old , she will be 20 years old in march 27 .. Amira always was angelical , always was so pure , so clear , so sweet , but now her voice became in something extremely powerful , stunning .
