It's opera, a lady and her servant are walking thru a garden and commenting on the flowers. this is her first performance after rmoving to South Africa. Her partner is Corlea Botha, a favorite of Amira's from the time Amira was very young. Amira asked her to be her partner in this duet. Both sing wonderfully.

The Flower Duet is from the opera Lakme . It is in French. Amira is singing with Corlea Botha big star in South Africa, part of the group of performers in the stable of Coleske Artists which Amira has also become a part of. You should React to Amira Willighagen-Your Love (theme from "Once Upon A Time in The West") Dec. 2nd 2017. In some ways this performance is even better than the Flower Duet. It was from the movie and is another great song written by Ennio Morricone. It is hauntingly beautiful and Amira sings it with power. Incredible performance. Amazing. One of the best song duets ever made. This a masterfully beautiful song by Léo Delibes. Another song you may find very incredible is from the movie “Shawshank Redemption” when the character Andy plays Mozart’s opera song-more like movement or sectio of the opera song called The Marriage of Figiro”-for all the prisoners when he locks himself in the wardens office and takes over the loud speakers throughout the prison yards. Nephi, I’d love you to react to her performance of a medley from Sound of Music which was recorded in 2019 when she was 15 yrs old. It is an outstanding performance. Her diction is clear & crisp & the resonance of her voice lingers in ones head for some time. She is an outstanding performer & a truely lovely young lady. In the past you yourself have been somewhat overwhelmed by Amira & her exceptional voice, so I am certain you would absolutely be enthralled with this performance. Dafydd Llewellyn Hello again, Daffyd, I hope this finds you and your wife doing well and enjoying life. I am sure you are patiently anticipating the arrival of Amira's new CD. I had to order my copy via snail mail so I imagine you will receive your copy weeks before I receive mine. If It's not too big an imposition, I would love to get your impressions and reaction to Amira's new album, especially the new songs.It certainly seems to be an interesting and eclectic mix. I hope it sells as well as it should. I recently stumbled across Kathleen Battle and Renee Kollo singing Lippen Schweigen, just a lovely performance. Her tone and approach to the music had more then a hint of Amira in it. Reminded me of Miranda's admonition to adapt more of Kathleen's vocal approach rather then Callas. There is a certain freedom in the way Battle sings compared to Callas. Like Amira, it just seems to flow out while Callas always sounded tightly constrained and gruff in her approach. Heresy I know, but except for a period of time in her younger days I always felt Callas voice could never approach the sheer beauty of Battles voice. Anyway if you are not familiar with that performance let me know what you think. Too soon for Amira to perform? Probably, be lovely to hear though.
