It's an Italian Christmas carol, so I think it is in Italian. Parts of if do sound like Latin. Venite Adoramus -Come and adore him. It is a gorgeous performance, and quite off the cuff. That's her father playing the organ. They were just visiting their local church and produced this. Amazing.

There have been a few impromptu songs from Amira over the years. The first I recall was in Brussels when she was about 11 years old. A street performer, Vincent Van Hessen, was playing his guitar. She asked if she could join him for one of the songs. He didn't recognise her at first (this was soon after the beginning of her career), until someone used her name. It's still on You Tube: See: Amira singing on Brussels Street with Vincent Van Hessen. Read his account of the meeting underneath. Nearly 4 million views.

Amazing, amazing. She relocated to South Africa, to her mother's roots, about six years ago now, and after a gap year of touring the rest of South Africa, Holland and the USA, and performing, last year, she is now reading music at Pretoria's University.

If you look closely at the windows in the background, you can see rain hitting them, probably the reason they came inside.
