Amira is widely considered the best singer in the world. Over 1 billion fans. Also receiving a 50,000 standing ovation at the age of 9. On Hollands got talent. At 18 now she has only gotten better! The best thing is, she doesnt even have to try to reach those notes. Shes just that goodz Over 1 billion fans Over 3 billion views

Amira was 9 when she performed on Holland's Got Talent. Andre saw the performance on KZbin, as he mentioned. A few days later, he did a video-conference call with her and her parents, inviting her to his Master Class training free of charge! She went to it. Somewhere along the way, she turned 10 (Spring of that year). Then, she performed this in Andre's concert at age 10. She is now 18-1/2. One amazing thing about her, just as astounding as her voice, is that she began a foundation at age 10 called "Gelukskinders," to help build playgrounds for impoverished children throughout South Africa, where she, her Mom, and her brother now reside! She invests half of all the profits she receives from her performances and recording sales back into the Gelukskinders Foundation! Truly an angel, a princess ("Amira" means princess in Arabic), and a wonderful young humanitarian with a beautiful soul and heart as big as the world!

This aria O Mio Babinno Caro is from Gianni Schicchi, a comic opera in one act by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Giovacchino Forzano, composed in 1917-18. The context is basically a teenaged girl having a temper tantrum, because her father doesn't approve of her boyfriend.

It's a beautiful performance. Andre made a mistake, she was 10 when she sung this. He deserves some credit, as he gave her a masterclass and polished her performance. Encouraging her to sustain the long notes, and told her when to breath. She learned quickly and picked up on all the tips.

Amira's well-trained soprano's technical prowess is unheard of at the age of 10 - and the voice of an amazing child prodigy is heard. Very early on, Amira's vibrato and squiro virtuosity is miraculous, touching the hearts of listeners and giving the whole audience a standing ovation.

She is truly exceptional. At the time of this performance she had just turned 10. Andre Rieu had invited her and her brother to his training camp where he worked with her on her timing. She is a very quick study and learned a lot from him. Since that time she has had professional teachers. She makes the singing look so effortless. People can understand how such a small person can create such a tremendous voice. Part of that is her physical training. She is a long distance runner and may be near Olympic quality. She has made 4 record albums, the first when she was 10 went gold in 2 weeks. She hasn't traveled much in the last 2 years due to the virus but continues to perform in South Africa where she lives.

Shahin. If you are new to Amira, you have a lot more material to consider. Amira is 18 now and has a wide repertoire. She is scheduled to perform in Holland on Dec 18 & 20 which due to age and health i am not able to attend. i don't know what would happen to me just to be there; i would most likely be a blubbering sick old man on the cusp of Heaven hearing this holy angel pleading my cause. If just 1 of those present could tell her that God brought her to me this July and my spirit is soaring with the eagles. “They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Is 40:31) She and her loved ones are in my nightly prayers for protection, perseverance and unshaken faith on the way of holiness.

Shahin, if you appreciate Amira as we her fans do, it is time to see some of her slightly later performances. There are two I suggest you do next. One is her performance of a duet called 'O Sole Mio' with an Italian Baritone named Patricio Buanne, filmed in Africa in 2016 when Amira was 12. The other is also in Africa and also at 12 years old, filmed just a few months later. The song is "Nella Fantasia" by Ennio Moricone. Both performances are in Italian and both will blow your mind. Why didn't they give her a microphone stand? Holding the microphone while singing opera restricts your body and also your voice.
