Although many opera arias are in Italian, this work from Verdi is in Latin, The Force of Destiny.

It's a short aria from G. Verdi The Force of Destiny. ( I won't try to write it in italian) The singer is asking for protection from the holy virgin. Sadly in the opera it doesn't materialise. Amira was 16, and delivered this as part of her streamed concert, an African Christmas with Amira and friends. She actually had a T° and was going down with a fever when she sang this, but did it so well. Thanks for the posting and the reaction. It's great.
