I don't know if Amira is The Best soprano in everything but I know that she has something besides her incredible voice that stands out among all the great opera singers of all times. Personally I have always had a dislike for opera. Even the best performances I was unable to keep listening to but then I came across Amira and she actually can move me to tears. If she ever is going to sing a full opera here in the netherlands i will probably go. Never in a milllion years I thought it possible that I would ever go to any opera. So, Amira I don't know what is so special about you but it is amazing. Please don't fall for a well paying career in mainstream music only. There are many people who can sing pop and musicals but if you continue training for the really difficult opera's you will outshine every soprano from all times!

Really Amira is too talented for serious opera. Why should she degrade her unique voice and style to the ordinary tutored run of the mill opera house singer. But if she against all odds should debut on a serious opera stage it will be the first time in history it's packed with non opera lovers with me on the first row(at any cost). Imagine all focus on her from the audience. The jealousy from other singers that went the long way will be monumental.

She did this even back at her HGT performances at 9 years old. During her singing the judges were practically dancing their astonishment in front of Amira but she was totally undisturbed, lost in the music. Then right as each song ended, she would "snap out of it", beaming and giggling at the audience. So special!

I am an old man who has been brought up listening to all things rock. Opera means nothing to me. When I hear opera it grates my soul. When I hear Amira sing I cry. I don't care if her voice is not perfect or she is not technically correct because when she sings she brings passion and emotion to each and every performance. When Amira sings, I cry.

Back in the late 50's and 60's and part of the 70's, music critics and Opera commentators and the general public around the World, were digging deeply into their vocabulary treasure vaults in an effort to find the most appropriate words and comments in order to describe the phenomenon of the 20th Century called Maria Callas. Today, with the phenomenon of this pretty young lady the same problem arises. Indeed it is very difficult to accurately describe and assess the real magnitude of the vocal value of this unbelievable Opera performer of today. I cannot imagine what of a fantastic performer she is going to develop in few years time from now. My best wishes to you for Good luck Amira and please, keep amazing us!!!! be thankful she's not at this time in the BBC and British media cross hairs. look what happened to Charlotte Church, and now more recently Courtney Hadwin (who had to go to the US to get taken seriously) Amira's better off staying where she is for now, slowly getting better and better each day, and each new performance. when the world really finds her then world will be as enamored by her as we are. I first came across Amira recently and watched her first performance in HGT then when she sang the O Sole Mio duet 3 years later, her voice was stunning as a 9 year old, and so refined and even more wonderful now she has clearly had training to tune and refine this marvellous talent. An old soul certainly and one could believe it is Maria Callas reborn. We are blessed to be given this voice to hear.
