Like i'd pretty much support XXL every year and find SOMETHING worthwhile. Like 2019 they caught a bunch of poppin mfs on the rise, 2020 had some good freestyles and the latto, 24k and fivi cypher was crazy, 2021 had morray, at least everyone participated in 2022 but 2023 has barely anything going for it.

@@brad6546 had to double back and peep some of the last names in the last few years bc I kind of gave up a while ago until this year (I'm giving up again). I feel like the state of xxl correlates to how rap is in general right now which is pretty mediocre. I get why some ppl enjoy it but they stopped carrying Abt variety or real talent a while ago. I really don't think anybody from this year is gonna have a lot of longevity. Tbf tho my opinion is pretty irrelevant though I haven't been in the mainstream rap space in years lol but at least back then I could get a Denzel or a Danny brown from xxl every few years.

But I feel like we're not gon get good content from this year
