My introduction to Jimin! (BTS)

The thing about BTS is, that they also have a lot of fanboys. (Girls are just way louder and present) I'm also a boy and in my twenties and I really appreciate how BTS doesn't make a difference between their male and female fans. They dedicated a song and mention both genders, Jungkook agreed to marry a fanboy who asked him to, etc etc... I'm also straight, so I don't even wanna marry any of them tho xD (well, I say that now, but if I had the possibility, hit me up Jimin). But it's just nice to see, that they don't make a difference when it's about gender religion, race, etc... They even educated themselves about the behaviour in Muslim countries to not be disrespectful. I sometimes wanna point out bad stuff they did, just to prove that they're not perfect just like everybody... But I just can't find anything xD

BTS is very supportive of their male fan base, be them straight or gay. In RM and Jeongguk’s “I Know,” they sing to both genders (the lyrics go “know you love me girl/know you love me boy). One of RM’s biggest positive qualities as a leader is how hard he strives to keep everyone feeling included, and this applies to fanboys too. He’s always learning new languages and calling the back row of the audience out and it’s really heartwarming :D

I also saw a clip of them sitting in the audience at an awards show, and a fanboy yelled how much he loved V, and V turned around, grinned, and winked at him. I think they get it. A fan is a fan, and they love their fans.

I honestly think Jimin has the most male fans out of all the members. The Jimin can appeal to literally anyone a any age group, male, female, any sexuality (I've seen it) and even animals! BTS loves and appreciates all their ARMYs regardless of sexuality, gender, belief, race, culture and nationality.

I believe BTS has more international male fans than domestic so we don't get to see them interact too much (though there's videos online of male fans at fan signings), but they've still got a loads in SK too. They have a lot of love of their fans regardless of gender and made it clear when Namjoon wrote a fan song, sung by him and Jungkook called "I Know". The lyrics go "Know you love me girl, So that I love you, Know you love me boy, So that I love you, For 3 years, Thank you so much, for being by our side". You should react to the whole song!

BTW that thing that happens where the observer falls for Jimin, there's a name for that. Its called the "Jimin Effect". Almost everyone experiences it. There's also a video compilation of that. As for the fanboy question. I can't say for sure but whenever boy groups hear a fanboy cheer for them they get surprise, mainly because they don't expect a deep voice hehehe. Aside from that, they treat fanboys like normal, (as I've observed from meet and greet videos). Although I've seen someone comment that they must be thankful to see fanboys because that means that they cater for a wider audience, not just girls. In my opinion, I think BTS are happy to see fanboys because that means that their music and/or performance can reach a large audience. Especially with their lyrics being something that people (regardless of age, sex,race, or orientation) can relate to. Also, there are some idols from younger boy groups who have said that BTS (especially Jimin) is their role model.

I know people in the comments have already answered but I still wanted to say that BTS doesn’t treat their male fans any differently than their female fans. They still say they love them, hug them, play with them at fansigns, I’ve seen a few cases where fanboys have admitted to wanting to date them and the members would say that they would be fine with dating them, just like they would with female fans. They appreciate all of, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation etc. when it comes to race, they even respect the culture of fans. There was a time when bts took a picture with a Muslim fam and they made sure they didn’t touch her because they knew that was part of her culture. They’re just very caring towards us overall. And in the song “I Know” that jungkook and Namjoon sung for the fans, they specifically included the fan boys, it’s a beautiful song, I hope you react to it.

don't worry they love their male fans and they don't treat them any differently. Some of my fav interactions between bts and fanboys: Jungkook gets a post-it note from a fanboy that said: "Even though I'm a guy will you still marry me?" And jungkook wrote "Sure!" And another one with V, there was a fanboy who was shy and Tae thought it was the cutest thing ever and he cupped the boy's face in his hand. SINCE SOME THINGS ARE MISINFORMATION! • Can you imagine? Trained for only 3 months with BTS (and about 8 month in Big Hit overall) but debuted as lead vocalist and main dancer! I'm grateful to Bang PD-nim for trusting in Jimin. • Perfect Man performance is iconic. And not only for BTS fans. It's literally the most watched video on Mnet Channel! Jimin totally stole the show tho xD • He doesn't speak english like that anymore. He's good with it now. • He's good at tumbling because he was trained in martial arts (Taekwondo) and has a black belt. Plus, he has also learned Korean swordsmanship - Kumdo for 7 years. • His hands are average. It's just his pinky-fingers, on both hands and feet, are shorter than usual. • "Jams joke" isn't a joke, it's insult. Please, refrain from using it EVER. Jimin doesn't like it. • About members: 1) Not THAT close but Jin and Jimin are drinking buddies and both have pretty high alcohol tolerance, so it's no surprise. They are definitely having fun together a lot, and have been spending lately a lot of time together 🙂 2) Suga is not that close to Jimin too (as some others I mean... cause they still are all family to each other and love each other) but Jimin is Suga's favourite vocalist and overall favourite dongsaeng (younger bro). Suga ALWAYS supports Jimin and cares for him a lot. Other people have already said it but they LOVE their male fanbase. In an After School Club interview once they recieved a live message from a group of male fans and you could visibly see the joy on each member's face, esp Suga who got a request from them to do part of a rap. Honestly, I know they love their female fanbase to death, but I think when they see they have fans of all ages/genders they feel even happier because they know their music is doing it's job of connecting to all kinds of people not just girls who think they're cute.

This is such an honest reaction channel. I can see you're not here just to have views fake reacting to random kpop videos like many youtubers. You are genuinely appreciating BTS as artists and I think you're feeling that deep connection with them and their music like many fans do. I like how you don't feel the need to overreact but instead you absorb in the meaning of their songs and understand their artistic value. And as you may read in other commets BTS do love and tresaure their male fanbase so much. They said many times how they dream to give people a message through their music no matter your gender, age or where you come from. I loved this episode and your reaction. Jhope is one of my ultimate biases but jimin is right up there. Hes just someone I would love to have a chance to befriend. You just wanna hug him and protect him from anything bad. Although with his clumsy as he is we almost have to protect him from himself LOL but I did almost cry when I did my research on him and found out how insecure he really is. I don't know if you know this but around the Blood Sweat and Tears era he was actually starving himself just to look the way he did. It's amazing how many of us think that he's perfect just the way he is but yet it's the small number of fans who criticize them that really hits home for them. It took me years to realize that I wouldn't be truly happy until I love myself. LOL see what I did there. they love their male fanbase, there was evenb a case when one guy came up to kookie and asked: even though I'm a man would you marry me - and Kookie wrote yes. Also Jimin always smiles so much when he hears male fans shout from the audience for him. Basically all male groups are proud when they have male fanbase - it makes them feel they are not only pretty for girls, but really talented

don't worry they love their fanboys just as much. Listen to RM and JK "I know" actually, I'm sometimes jealous of the fanboys. When they shout out the member's names, they stand out and they make the members notice them and smile at them. One fanboy during the MAMA/MMA (not sure) got a wink and a smile from V. In a HYYH concert, jimin sent a heart to a fanboy who screamed his name.
